and since there's a microwave on every single floor,

it's incredibly convenient, especially if you're planning a longer stay.

3. Room Condition & Comfort

Having traveled to Osaka countless times,

I feel like I've stayed at almost every highly-rated,

budget-friendly hotel in this neighborhood.

By now, I'm completely used to the compact room sizes in Japan.

But while some places can be surprisingly lax on cleanliness,

Sotetsu is a major, trusted hotel brand in Japan,

which is likely why everything was absolutely spotless.

I slept like a baby every single night!

Since hotel rooms in Japan tend to run small,

opening up massive suitcases can make moving around a bit of a puzzle.

My personal pro-tip is to bring a compact carry-on bag, along with

a large, foldable travel duffel for all your shopping finds.

It's a game-changer!

You can easily slide your luggage under the bed

to keep your room feeling spacious and tidy.

Even though the room is compact, there's a cozy little table

which was perfect for catching up on work or getting ready in the morning.

Tucked neatly into a corner, you'll also find

an electric kettle and a handy mini-fridge.

The bedding was wonderfully plush and crisp.

Just a quick heads-up: since the hotel is located right on the main street

by Dotonbori, it can get a bit lively and noisy late into the night.

I highly recommend requesting a high-floor room when booking

for a quieter experience.

My family isn't particularly sensitive to noise,

so we slept just fine despite the occasional motorcycle or street chatter.

But if you're on a lower floor, you will definitely notice

some of that city hustle and bustle.

There are hangers available to hang up your jackets,

or to air-dry any quick hand-washed items.

For an affordable hotel in Osaka, it even comes with a bathtub,

and the bathroom size is actually quite decent!

Since they offer plenty of free bath salts on the first floor,

I ended every day of exploring with a relaxing soak to melt away the fatigue.

The bathroom comes equipped with a hairdryer and basic essentials,

and you can just grab any extras you need

from the lobby whenever you want.

I absolutely love how generous they are with their amenities here!

Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

at the restaurant right next to the 1st-floor front desk.

If you purchase it on-site, it's 1,800 JPY (~$11) per person,

so it's much more economical to book it together with your room in advance!

I usually opt for breakfast when traveling with my child.

But this time, since I was traveling with my husband,

we decided to skip it to explore the local morning food scene instead.

That said, the buffet offers a great variety of local dishes,

and the quality is excellent for the price!

4. Final Thoughts on My Osaka Adventure

It might not be ultra-luxurious, but with its perfect balance of location, price, and cleanliness,

it's easy to see why this hotel is so highly loved by travelers.
