I recently visited Yeosu with my mom,
and I'm excited to share my honest, self-funded review of Sonokam Yeosu!
I was so incredibly satisfied that if you're searching for a 5-star hotel in Yeosu,
I'd recommend it without hesitation!!
Sonokam Yeosu: Highly Recommended for These Travelers
Families with Children
The hotel offers a shared microwave,
making it convenient to warm up baby food or simple snacks.
Plus, with a spacious lobby that's easy to navigate with strollers and reliable amenities,
and best of all, the Oedongdo walking trail is right out front,
it's perfect for strolls with the little ones.
Traveling with Parents
With sauna facilities offering panoramic views of the Yeosu sea
and a wonderfully varied breakfast spread,
your parents are sure to be incredibly satisfied.
Romantic Getaways
The panoramic ocean views stretching beyond the full-length windows alone
are enough to set the stage for a truly romantic hotel getaway!

The Lobby
The moment I stepped into Sonokam Yeosu and caught sight of the lobby,
I immediately knew we had made the perfect choice for our stay.
The high ceilings and open, expansive lobby instantly conveyed that 5-star hotel luxury!
The spacious area is perfect for navigating with strollers,
so it's immediately clear why families with children absolutely love this place.
My mom was also absolutely delighted by the gorgeous lobby!!
At check-in, they provide a detailed information sheet about all the hotel's services,
which is incredibly convenient as it covers absolutely everything you could want to know.
Sonokam Yeosu truly has it all, with dining options available from breakfast all the way to dinner,
and fantastic facilities including a well-equipped sauna, fitness center, and even a convenience store.
It's absolutely perfect for a luxurious and relaxing hotel getaway.
(Just a heads-up, there's no swimming pool!
But don't worry, the sauna is absolutely legendary, so you won't even miss it! haha)
Twin Room
The stunning ocean view that greeted us the moment we opened the door was absolutely breathtaking!
We happened to visit on a rainy day with a hazy sky, but even then, the view was this incredible.
I can only imagine how truly magnificent it would be on a brilliantly clear day
— it's almost beyond imagination!
The ambiance by the ocean-view window is absolutely lovely, making it perfect for beautiful photos,
so if you're traveling with children or your significant other,
make sure to capture some wonderful memories!
Overall, I really loved the room's atmosphere, thanks to its warm aesthetic and antique furniture.
And the bedding? Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, as expected!
Everything you need is well-equipped, from a coffee pot and tea bags to a wine opener and glasses.
A hairdryer and mineral water are standard, of course,
and they even thoughtfully included Seagram's sparkling water!
You can use the microwave oven in the lobby for shared use,
so if you need it, that's a good tip to keep in mind!
The bathroom was also well-maintained and clean overall.
Since there's a sauna, I didn't use the bathtub, but
I think it would be nice to have a foot bath in the evening.
Shampoo, conditioner, body cleanser, toothbrush, and toothpaste are all provided.
But what I loved most were the spacious vanity area perfect for doing makeup and the bidet!!!!

While Sonno Calm Yeosu doesn't have a swimming pool,
it makes up for it with an exceptionally well-equipped sauna and fitness center,
which I was extremely satisfied with.

Sitting in the warm bath, gazing at the ocean view through the panoramic windows,
I truly felt what real healing was all about.
There's also a small outdoor bath available, so I highly recommend that anyone visiting Sonno Calm
gives it a try!
And then there's the fitness center!! I was incredibly satisfied with this gym.
The facilities were so impressive, I was genuinely surprised.
Isn't an ocean-view treadmill on a high floor everyone's dream?!
You can make that dream a reality right away when you visit Sonno Calm Yeosu! Haha!
There are also many other types of exercise equipment available.
It's a facility that any fitness enthusiast would be very satisfied with.
What's more, it's free for guests!!
You can even do InBody tests,
and there's a separate stretching zone, so it's on par with any high-end gym!
Yeosu has so many amazing restaurants that I didn't actually have breakfast at the hotel!
But if you're on a family trip with kids,
a hotel breakfast is often a must-have, right?
Sonokam Yeosu offers dining with an ocean view,
and its buffet quality is renowned for being excellent,
so I highly recommend you try it out.
For a perfect location and 5-star elegance in Yeosu,
there's really no place that offers both quite like
