The Singulari Hotel Osaka Review: Skyspa & Steps from USJ
Looking for the perfect hotel near Universal Studios Japan? The Singulari Hotel offers unbeatable walking access, spacious rooms, and a relaxing rooftop spa.
If you're planning a trip to Universal Studios Japan
and want the ultimate convenience, I highly recommend this hotel.
The Singulari Hotel & Skyspa
The location alone is enough reason to book,
but having a rooftop public bath made this stay absolutely perfect.

1. Why I Highly Recommend It

✅ Unbeatable Location
The Singulari Hotel is located right in front of JR Universal City Station.
Step out of the hotel doors, and you're instantly connected to the station.
Universal Studios Japan is about a 5-minute walk away.
If you're planning a "rope drop" strategy to hit the park right at opening,
finding a better-located hotel is nearly impossible.

✅ The Skyspa
While there are several hotels within walking distance of USJ,
The Singulari Hotel is the ONLY one featuring a traditional public bath.
Located on the top floor, the Skyspa is an absolute lifesaver.
After logging miles of walking around the theme park all day, soaking in the hot baths
while taking in the Osaka city skyline was incredibly satisfying.
It exceeded my expectations!
✅ Surprisingly Spacious Rooms
Japanese hotel rooms are notoriously tiny,
but reviews consistently praised The Singulari for its generous space.
Having stayed there myself, I can confirm it!
They offer rooms comfortably fitting three people, with plenty of floor space to lay out luggage without feeling claustrophobic.
2. Deluxe Room + Sofa Bed (3-Person Stay) Review

Since we were a group of three,
we booked the Deluxe Room, which features a double bed and a sofa bed.

The room was genuinely spacious by Japanese standards.
There was plenty of breathing room between the main beds and the sofa bed.
We had more than enough space to set up our late-night convenience store feast!

One side of the room housed the refrigerator and storage area,
providing ample room to stash our gear.

The bathroom was spotless.
All the basic amenities are provided in the room,

and if you need extras, you can easily grab them from the lobby.

Breakfast is served buffet-style at the restaurant on the first floor.
If you're spending the entire day at USJ,
fueling up with a hearty breakfast is an absolute must!

The spread focuses heavily on traditional Japanese dishes,
but the variety was fantastic and everything tasted great.

As expected from a hotel with a premium public bath,
they provide incredibly comfortable lounge wear.
Many guests wear these down to breakfast and up to the Skyspa.
The soft fabric was a huge plus for relaxing!
3. Skyspa: The Rooftop Public Bath
This was the amenity I was looking forward to the most.
It's completely free for hotel guests,
and the men's and women's baths are securely separated by keycard access.

After a long day of riding rollercoasters
and walking miles at USJ,
sinking into the hot water instantly melted all my fatigue away.

There's also a relaxing lounge area right next to the baths,
which was a great spot to cool down.
Honestly, the Skyspa alone is reason enough
for me to book this hotel again for my next Universal Studios trip.
