As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was greeted by that

signature neat and luxurious Shilla atmosphere, brimming with a resort vibe!

There was no need to stand and wait for check-in;

it was conducted comfortably from a lobby table, where we could sit down and relax.

As I'll mention again later,

Shilla Monogram Danang is genuinely fantastic for family trips.

It's wonderful for traveling with children and

absolutely perfect for visiting with parents!

2. Ocean View Room Tour & Stay Review

The room I used was a

Deluxe Double Room (Ocean View).

Our room was located on the side of the building,

but despite that, the blue ocean and pool were visible from the terrace,

which was absolutely beautiful and very satisfying.

If you're looking for a perfect straight-on front ocean view,

it might be good to request a central room assignment, but

enjoying the ocean view from any room is absolutely fine.

Especially when evening arrives, the pool lights

*pop* on, and the night view is absolutely incredible.

As it was a double room, there was a double bed,

and on the TV screen,

a welcome message popped up with my reservation name.

It made me feel pampered, and it was

a lovely detail that brightened my mood.

A laundry drying rack was provided on the terrace,

which I found incredibly useful for drying wet swimsuits or belongings

after swimming.

Inside the closet, there were plenty of hangers and bathrobes, of course,

plus even a rattan-style beach bag

that you could use when heading to the pool or private beach!

The toilet and shower were separate,

and the amenities were neatly packed in a stylish,

eco-friendly pouch, thoughtfully containing a toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, razor,

and shower cap.

Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner

were provided in large-capacity dispensers inside the shower.

I also really loved the one-time complimentary mini-bar!

Do I really need to bring a shower filter?

When many people travel to Vietnam,

a common search concern is water quality (the shower filter issue)!

The water quality at Shilla Monogram Danang

was really clean compared to other resorts in Danang.

We brought a filter and attached it, but it barely discolored,

which was so pleasant that we even said,

"We probably didn't even need to use it!"

However, I still recommend bringing one just in case.

require a prior reservation to use.

Just imagine, a leisurely stroll from the hotel's outdoor pool, heading straight towards the glistening ocean,

and voilà! You're whisked away to the exclusive guests-only

Here, with the uniquely fine and soft sand characteristic of the lower My Khe Beach line (leading towards Non Nuoc Beach)

and the expansive, sparkling sea as your backdrop,

you'll discover a haven for capturing those 'once-in-a-lifetime' photos

and enjoying the most blissful strolls.

A quick tip for our fellow explorers: on days with higher waves or stronger winds,

ocean swimming might be temporarily restricted for your safety.

So, if you're planning a visit during the rainy season, just keep an eye on the conditions!

conveniently located on the 1st floor.

With breakfast hours stretching from a generous 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM,

there’s absolutely no need to rush! You can wake up at your own pace and enjoy a wonderfully leisurely start to your day.

Once you step inside, after a quick confirmation of your room number,

the friendly staff will guide you right to your table, ready for a delightful breakfast experience!

The food selection here is truly impressive and incredibly diverse!

Beyond the quintessential local Vietnamese dishes,

they even offer three different types of pho (rice noodle soup),

meaning you can savor a warm, comforting bowl made fresh right before your eyes. What a treat!

Above all, a huge advantage of Shilla Monogram Da Nang is that its Korean food corner is truly robust and incredibly delicious. It's a place that can perfectly capture the taste buds of parents or elders who always look for Korean food when traveling abroad, so I enthusiastically recommend it to all Korean food-loving travelers!

You can also enjoy a variety of delicious Vietnamese coffees,

6. Overall Review

I only stayed for a short one-night trip,

but my satisfaction level was incredibly high!

If I had to pick one minor drawback, it would be the location. Situated exactly midway between Da Nang city center (Han Market) and Hoi An, there aren't any markets or restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. However, like Korea, Vietnam has an excellent delivery culture, so you can receive food deliveries from <Delivery K> or <GrabFood> right at the lobby. Plus, the hotel's own amenities are more than enough to compensate, making it absolutely perfect for enjoying a luxurious hotel stay.
