Shilla Monogram Danang was hands down one of the most satisfying places we stayed during our trip to Danang with our 20-month-old baby.
Where you stay can truly make or break your trip. Here is a roundup of the key highlights and insider tips based on our personal experience.

In-Room Baby Services

Baby Crib or Bed Guards
Since our 20-month-old little guy, Woo-kka, tends to roll around in all directions while sleeping, we requested these in advance when booking.
Right after we checked in, a staff member came to our room and installed them perfectly. Thanks to that, we could let him sleep soundly without worrying about him falling off the bed.

Dehumidifier & Smart TV
Since we traveled during Danang's rainy season, we were a bit worried about the humidity and requested a dehumidifier at check-in. Luckily, they had one available for us to borrow!
Watching the dehumidifier work hard non-stop made me realize what a great decision it was to ask for one.
Plus, you can connect to YouTube on the smart TV—perfect for putting on a quick video for the baby so mom and dad can enjoy a much-needed breather!
💡Rental Tips for New Parents
They also have baby bottle sterilizers for infants younger than 20 months. Quantities are limited, so be sure to secure yours when making your reservation!
Other items like baby bathtubs, step stools, humidifiers, and air purifiers are also available for rent.

Year-Round Heated Pools & Safe Kids' Pools

Danang's rainy season can get quite chilly in the mornings and evenings.
At typical resorts, the pool water can be so cold that you might skip swimming out of fear of your child catching a cold. However, because all the pools here are heated, we were able to enjoy the outdoor pools without a single worry, even during the rainy season.

In addition to the separate infant and kids' pools, the family pool right in front of the sunbeds has a shallow end that was absolutely perfect for our 20-month-old.
There are plenty of life jackets, arm-ring floats, and beach towels provided on-site, so you can head down completely hands-free!
Stress-Free Breakfast with Great Toddler Options
When traveling with a toddler, a comfortable and hassle-free breakfast buffet takes priority over searching for local restaurants.
The breakfast at Shilla Monogram Danang is highly tailored to Korean and international palates, meaning it's packed with comforting, familiar dishes for both kids and adults.

Recommended menu items: Mild white rice porridge, seaweed soup, bulgogi (marinated beef), japchae (glass noodles), cereals, dairy products, and more.

High chairs are a given, along with break-resistant kid-friendly plates and cups. If you need to warm up baby food, just ask the staff—they are incredibly kind and happy to help.
Endless Fun at the Kids' Facilities: Kids Club, Mono Kids, and Sand Play

The Kids Club (Little Monogram) is exceptionally clean. Our 20-month-old, Woo-kka, was still a bit too young to join the organized programs, but he had a blast running around and burning off energy in the safe, padded playroom.

The resort's dedicated Sand Play area is another huge plus. We loved that he could play in the sand in a clean and safe environment without us having to trek all the way down to the beach.

💡 Quick Tips for Traveling with Kids
Connecting Rooms: If you are traveling with a large family or have more than one child, request connecting rooms in advance to make your daily routine much smoother.
Stroller Rentals: The resort offers stroller rentals for use on the property. Availability is limited, so be sure to check at the front desk right when you check in!
Use 'BaeDal K' (Delivery K): Since the resort is a bit of a distance from downtown, dining out can be a hassle. Try using the 'BaeDal K' app—everything from authentic Korean food to local culinary hotspots delivers straight to the lobby.
Shower Filters: While Shilla Monogram is famous for its clean water quality, it is always a good idea to pack a portable shower filter if your little one has extra-sensitive skin.
