My first taste of Wangcheon Padak wasn't actually at the Dajeong branch, but at their original location in Jochiwon.

I stumbled upon it while house hunting in Sejong, and the **rich, savory flavor of the chicken itself, combined with its surprisingly non-greasy quality**, really left an impression.

So imagine my delight when, after moving to Sejong, I discovered a Wangcheon Padak right near my new home!

I immediately placed an order, and now, whenever I'm craving chicken in Sejong's Dajeong-dong, it's the first place that comes to mind.

While you can order through delivery apps, we always opt for direct pickup. Why? Because you get a complimentary drink, and it's about ~$2 cheaper! It's a win-win.

They offer both bone-in Wangcheon Padak and boneless Padak. Since we prefer not dealing with bones, we always go for the boneless option.

Wangcheon Padak has this **distinctive savory flavor** that I absolutely adore.

Even the aroma wafting from the bag as I walk home is incredibly enticing. It smells delicious even before you take a bite!

What's more, even if it sits for a little while after being fried, the chicken stays crispy on the outside and tender on the inside – still incredibly tasty.

When you eat it with the fresh scallions, it significantly cuts through any richness, allowing you to **enjoy every single bite until the very end.**

After several orders, my husband and I have even developed our own special way of enjoying it.

It comes with pickled radish, a sweet and spicy sauce, and salt. **But we always add two extra scallion sauces.**

The scallions are quite long, so we snip them with scissors, then toss them in a plastic bag with one packet of sauce. Give it a good shake, and the sauce evenly coats the scallions, making them perfect for topping your chicken.

We then pour the other packet of sauce into a separate dish for dipping! It's the best of both worlds.
