Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan Review 2026: Spacious Cafe for Families
Discover Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan, a spacious, family-friendly cafe in Sejong perfect for large groups. With ample parking and a diverse bakery, it's ideal for a relaxed outing. Find out if it's your next Sejong stop!
When you're searching for a cafe in Sejong that can comfortably accommodate your entire family, you'll quickly realize there are quite a few criteria to consider.
It's essential to have plenty of seating for everyone, and convenient parking is a must.
For families with little ones, a place that's easy to navigate with a stroller is definitely a bonus.

When my in-laws visited Sejong in early August 2026 for a housewarming, we kept all these factors in mind. That's how we ended up at Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan, a large-scale cafe.
Upon our visit, we found the space to be impressively vast. However, it was also incredibly busy, bustling with patrons, and offered a diverse array of bakery items.

We hosted my in-laws for a housewarming at our place in early August 2026. Since everyone traveled from afar to visit Sejong, we spent two days enjoying delicious food and exploring local attractions. Haha!
That day, we explored the Presidential Archives and enjoyed a meal at Seongsanok. After a hearty lunch, it was time for a cup of coffee, right? Haha!
Given our large group, we decided a spacious cafe in Sejong would be better than a small one, somewhere we could all sit comfortably. So, we headed to Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan.

Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan offers parking space right in front of the cafe, with a small courtyard area between the parking lot and the building.
What particularly caught my eye that day was the number of families with strollers. With an elevator available, it was incredibly convenient for families with babies and strollers.

We ordered our bread and drinks on the first floor, then headed up to the second floor to find a spot.

The cafe was indeed spacious.
With plenty of tables available for larger groups, it was a great fit for our family who were looking for a big cafe in Sejong.
However, as vast as the space was, it was also quite crowded, and the window seats were already completely taken. So, we simply pulled some tables together in the center of the room.
The spots by the large windows are definitely popular, so if a scenic view is a priority, I'd recommend arriving earlier!

The bakery counter at Ido Coffee offered a surprisingly diverse range of options, from savory choices like salt bread, focaccia, and baguettes to sweet treats like pastries, cookies, and scones. Our family tends to be big eaters, haha!
With so many people and everyone picking out what they wanted, we ended up ordering almost ~$59 worth of bread and drinks! I'd say we got to try a pretty good variety of items, wouldn't you? Haha!

Honestly, though, the bread didn't particularly stand out as exceptionally delicious to my taste. While the wide variety was great for everyone to pick their favorites, I wouldn't say the bread alone would make me rush back.

However, the drinks were quite good.

I ordered a decaf cafe latte that day, which was honestly just average.

Instead, the strawberry smoothie and green tangerine ade that my family ordered truly stood out. Both were delicious, but especially the strawberry smoothie! It was fantastic – I'd definitely order it again on a future visit.
📍 Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan
55-11 Hotan-gil, Geumnam-myeon, Sejong Special Self-Governing City
Based on our visit, Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan felt less like a destination for gourmet coffee or pastries, and more like a spacious Sejong cafe perfect for families or larger groups to spend time together.
With ample parking and a vast interior, it was certainly convenient for a larger group like ours. However, when I visited, it was quite busy, and the window seats were already taken. So, if you're hoping for a quiet, tranquil atmosphere, your experience might vary depending on the time of your visit.
If you're out and about in Sejong with family and looking for a spacious cafe that can comfortably accommodate a larger group, Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan is definitely worth considering.
If seating and parking are important factors for your family, much like they were for ours, definitely keep Ido Coffee Sejong Hotan in mind as a potential option!
