During my recent trip to Phu Quoc, I discovered a gem that perfectly balanced price, location, and amenities. Seashells Phu Quoc Resort truly impressed with its fantastic breakfast and inviting pool. Here's my honest, self-funded review!

The deposit is 500,000 VND per night, and you can pay with either card or cash.

You'll get your deposit back upon check-out, but make sure to keep your deposit receipt safe!

Not only do they offer complimentary luggage storage, but there's also a free airport pick-up and drop-off service. Definitely take advantage of it to make your arrival and departure seamless!

The ocean view rooms at Seashells Phu Quoc boast private balconies and an unobstructed vista, giving you an incredible front-row seat to the sea.

Since the hotel faces the beautiful western coast, the sunsets were absolutely breathtaking. The night views and the sky at dawn were particularly stunning during my stay.

As of 2026, you can often book an ocean view room for around ~$96! Considering the city view rooms are only about ~$19 less, I highly recommend splurging a little for the ocean view to fully immerse yourself in that vacation vibe.

My Personal Room Review

The bed was quite spacious for a double, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

While not overly extravagant, the large table was perfectly functional and convenient for everyday use.

Standard hotel amenities like tea and coffee were provided, along with two complimentary bottles of mineral water daily.

The bathroom was clean and well-designed, with the bathtub, toilet, and shower all separated for convenience.

However, like many hotels in Phu Quoc, the water quality isn't always ideal. I'd highly recommend bringing a portable shower filter if you're concerned about this.

You'll find a comfy bathrobe, a useful tote bag, and a hat in the closet – perfect for your trips to the pool!

Breakfast at Seashells Resort

Breakfast at Seashells Resort is served in the Coral Restaurant on the first floor.

Having stayed for two nights, I can confirm that while the basic brunch items remained consistent, the Vietnamese dishes on offer changed daily, which was a pleasant surprise.

The pho, a must-try when in Phu Quoc, was served with beef one day and chicken the next, ensuring I never got bored during my consecutive stays.

From fresh vegetables and cold cuts to a variety of brunch staples, the selection might not be vast, but everything was delicious and satisfying. It truly stands out as one of the most memorable resort breakfasts I've had in Phu Quoc.

The resort features one main pool located right in front of the breakfast restaurant, with a separate kids' pool adjacent to it.

The main pool is quite long and deep enough for a refreshing swim, making it a fun spot to cool off and enjoy some water activities.

Overall, Seashells Phu Quoc Resort is an excellent choice for couples looking for a value-for-money, independent travel experience in Phu Quoc.
