Nangman Nak Gop Sae Samsong: Spicy Hotpot Near Goyang Starfield 2026

The weather was lovely, so we took a leisurely stroll to Samsong Station.

After visiting the area near Goyang Starfield, we went to get some spicy Nakgop-sae.

We visited Romang Nakgop-sae Samsong Station Branch, a must-try restaurant near Goyang Starfield!

There are many shops near Starfield,

so it can be a bit tricky to find, but it's right across from Woori Bank Samsong Branch.

Inside the Restaurant

There are separate tables for 2 and 4 people,

and with 28 seats, it's also great for group gatherings.

Since it was a weekend evening, there were many couples like us.

Minari Nakgop-sae was a new menu item, so of course, we added extra Minari!!

A pot brimming with Korean beef large intestine (dae-chang), enoki mushrooms,

shrimp, and octopus was brought to our table.

The staff kindly instructed, "Don't open the lid before it boils~"

then set a timer and left us to anticipate.

While it's boiling, let's enjoy some banchan and a Somaek!

Roasted seaweed, pickled radish wraps (ssam-mu), white kimchi, corn mayonnaise.

These are the additional items we ordered:

1 serving of beef, Minari, and ramyeon noodles.

"Please make me a delicious Somaek~"

You wouldn't believe how delicious it is to put corn mayonnaise on roasted seaweed, add a bit of wasabi,

and wrap it all up! Yongbami made a wrap and popped it into my mouth,

and since the corn mayonnaise even had a subtle hint of wasabi,

I couldn't stop making those 'corn wraps' afterwards! Hahaha.

As it started to bubble nicely, I glanced at the timer,

and there were about 2 minutes left.

Just then, the owner came over and expertly finished cooking it for us.

Nakgop-sae visual is TOP-NOTCH!!!!!

Time to add the beef!!

And as the beef bubbles away,

it's pure magic how much more abundant and utterly delicious it looks!

And then, fresh water celery too!

Adding both beef and water celery is an absolute must!

Wrapping those delicious glass noodles with water celery for a yummy bite!

I was so focused on digging in,

I couldn't even see my boyfriend's face!

Loaded up a wrap with beef, shrimp, and even octopus!

And wrapped some in ssammu (pickled radish wraps) as well!

This was Hanwoo daechang (large intestine), but while I was eating, I peeked at the menu and realized something!

For an additional ~$2,

you can swap the Hanwoo daechang for Hanwoo gopchang (small intestine)!

Oh my goodness... I'm not a huge fan of daechang, so

why did I only notice this now?! ㅠㅠㅠ

Next time, I am absolutely paying extra for the gopchang!

Still, I devoured it!

I chose the 'spicy' level, but it wasn't overly fiery,

so a 'super spicy' option would be fantastic for next time!

After finishing off most of the other goodies, it was time to add the ramen noodles!

I was craving 'ramyeon-ttang' (crispy raw ramen), so I nibbled on some raw noodles, bite by bite,

and they ended up looking like a mouse had gotten to them!

After slurping down those delicious ramen noodles...

And then, we just HAD to add the self-serve fried rice!

They brought us a bowl of rice already topped with adorable mini seaweed flakes and seasoning.

These seaweed flakes were so unique!

We got to stir-fry our own fried rice exactly how we liked it!

There were also cheese or flying fish roe fried rice options on the menu,

but honestly, the basic seasoning of Nangman Nak Gop Sae was so incredibly flavorful that

even the plain self-serve fried rice, without any extra toppings,

was absolutely delicious! We were totally satisfied!!!!

We scraped every last bit from the pan – it was that good!

We even polished off all the side dishes – literally 'dishwashing' them!

We truly ate so well...!

Today, I took my sweet time eating and drinking,

and ended up being the last customer to leave~

I've been to Yongho Nakji at Goyang Starfield quite a bit,

and I've also had Nakgopsae at Gaemijip a few times,

but this place? The portions were the most generous,

the octopus was incredibly fresh, and there was plenty of shrimp and tripe – truly delicious!

My take on revisiting?
