Bukhansan Makguksu Menu Highlights

Individual servings of Bibim Makguksu, Mul Makguksu, or Deulgireum Makguksu are ₩9,000 (~$7) each.
However, the real deal is the Makguksu with Bulgogi combo! If you order for two people or more, at ₩13,000 (~$10) per person, you get a generous total of 300g (about 10.6 ounces) of savory bulgogi included (150g per person).
For just an additional ₩4,000 (~$3) per person to get the meat, it's an absolute no-brainer – you simply have to go for this option!

When you order the makguksu combo, they serve you this impressive mountain of bulgogi hotpot right alongside your noodles.
Remember, this incredible deal is available for orders of 2 people or more, featuring a substantial 300g (about 10.6 ounces) of bulgogi hotpot!

It was a chilly, rainy day during our visit, so we made a beeline for the self-service warm broth station. We filled a kettle with the comforting broth and sipped on it while eagerly awaiting our makguksu and bulgogi.

Seriously, this broth was absolutely divine! We ended up having a full cup each.

The bulgogi hotpot arrived first, beautifully arranged with a generous topping of bean sprouts, ready for grilling right at our table.

Once the bulgogi was cooked to perfection, we moved it to the side of the grill to keep it warm without burning. The bean sprouts were wonderfully crisp, and the seasoning was perfectly balanced, making it an excellent pairing with our makguksu.
I'm usually not the biggest fan of heavily marinated meats like bulgogi *baekban* (bulgogi with rice) or beef bulgogi hotpot, but this version, grilled with its flavorful, slightly saucy broth, was truly delicious and converted me!

For our makguksu choices, we opted for the Bibim Makguksu and the Deulgireum Makguksu.

The Bibim Makguksu, with its icy, sweet, and tangy sauce, was incredibly flavorful and refreshing.

And the Deulgireum Makguksu? It was unbelievably savory and nutty – a true delight! It was so good, you won't need to search any further for the perfect perilla oil noodles.

We also decided to add some dumplings to our meal! The Buckwheat King Dumplings (메밀 왕만두) were ₩6,000 (~$4).

You can choose between meat or kimchi dumplings; we opted for the kimchi variety, which had a satisfying kick.
The dumpling wrappers, made from buckwheat, were extra chewy and felt wholesome – a delicious and healthy-feeling addition to our meal.

Through the window, we had a view of Bukhansan. It was a cloudy, rainy day during our visit, so the mountain was shrouded in a beautiful mist. I imagine the view would be absolutely stunning on a clear day!

Of course, there's complimentary mixed coffee available for a sweet and satisfying finish to your meal.

At the counter, you'll find traditional Korean *yeot* (candy) for sale, and surprisingly, even Crocs Jibbitz (shoe charms)! This suggests it's a popular spot for families with kids, adding to its friendly atmosphere.

On a rainy day, before heading out to explore Bukhansan, it was absolutely perfect to fuel up with a hearty meal of dumplings, makguksu, and bulgogi hotpot. It set us up perfectly for a scenic drive around the mountain.
This place would be wonderful to bring older family members or friends looking for an authentic Korean dining experience. I definitely want to visit Bukhansan Makguksu again with my family!
