2. Why I Chose This Hotel
Nagoya doesn't have as much tourist information as Tokyo or Osaka, which made choosing accommodation a bit tricky.
I wanted to avoid lugging my suitcase too far from the station, and I wasn't looking to break the bank. That's how I stumbled upon The Royal Park Canvas Nagoya while searching for a budget-friendly option.

The deciding factor was definitely the public bath.
After a long day of exploring on foot, being able to soak and unwind in a spacious bath is incredibly important for shaking off travel fatigue.
Its location, just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station, also meant I didn't have to struggle with my luggage.
Having a convenience store (FamilyMart) on the first floor of the hotel was also super handy for late-night snacks or when I needed bottled water in a pinch.
3. Inside the Twin Room

The twin room, as is typical for Japanese hotels, is on the cozier side.
If you're expecting a large, luxurious room, you might be a little disappointed, but it has everything you need.

✔️ Free bottled water, coffee pot, refrigerator, and safe are provided.
✔️ The desk is quite spacious, fitting for a business hotel.
✔️ You receive two key cards at check-in (blue for the room, white for public bath access).
When you travel in Japan, you often spend most of your time exploring and only use your room for sleeping, right?
If you're looking for just enough space to open your suitcase and move around comfortably, then The Royal Park Canvas Nagoya hotel is a perfect fit.

4. Public Bath & Other Facilities

Having a public bath at this price point for a business hotel is definitely a major perk.
You can enter the 3rd-floor public bath using the white key card you receive at check-in.
On the same floor, you'll also find a microwave and coin-operated laundry machines, which are super useful for longer stays or for those who prefer to pack light.
Ice machines are conveniently located on the 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th floors, so getting ice was never an issue.
The hotel also offers luggage storage after checkout, and there's a luggage scale in the lobby. This is a huge plus for shoppers worried about exceeding duty-free limits or airline baggage weight restrictions.
