While planning this trip to Almaty, Kazakhstan,
I wanted a place close to the car rental shop that offered amazing room conditions, delicious breakfast,
and a spectacular view. That's why I chose
Reikartz Sky Almaty!
Located right in the business heart of Almaty,
it was super easy to get around. But best of all,
the panoramic views from the 17th-floor rooftop restaurant
were absolutely breathtaking! 🥹 🤍

3. Hotel Exterior & Interior
Reikartz Sky Almaty is located on the upper floors
of a multi-purpose building.
It's not too far from the airport, making it a perfect spot
to check into on your first night, even arriving late at 10 PM.
Best of all, the prime location made it incredibly convenient
to catch a taxi and explore all the main tourist sights!
Right from the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a clean atmosphere
and a super refreshing lobby area.
4. Room Conditions
We were assigned to room 1605
located on the 16th floor!
As soon as we walked in, the very first thing we noticed was
how much more spacious it was than we expected!
The overall vibe was super modern,
the bed was incredibly cozy, and there was plenty of room
to fully open our suitcases and move around comfortably!
There’s a TV (though we didn't end up watching it)
and a handy table, making it perfect for catching up on a little work
or unwinding with a nice evening drink!
There is also a wardrobe to hang up your coats
along with comfortable slippers.
Complimentary bottled water, coffee, and tea bags are provided,
so you can easily brew a warm drink using the electric kettle.
The refrigerator is stocked with a paid minibar.
If you decide to have a snack or drink, keep in mind
that you’ll be charged at checkout, so make sure to
check the price list shown on the right!
The bathroom featured a modern, minimalist design
and was incredibly clean, which made me so happy!
From shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and body lotion, to bar soap,
all the essential amenities are fully prepared,
so you don't even have to worry about packing your own!

🕖 Breakfast Hours: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Breakfast was served at the SKY17 Rooftop Bar
located right up on the 18th floor!
Being able to look out at downtown Almaty and the mountain range
from the 17th-floor terrace
while eating breakfast was absolutely amazing 💚
Breakfast is served as a buffet, where you can enjoy both continental
and local Kazakh dishes side-by-side!
From bread, fruit, hot dishes, to coffee,
everything is so well-prepared that after eating,
it's the perfect way to start your day of exploring fully energized!
Fueled up on a hearty breakfast,
we headed straight out to hike Big Almaty 🥾
Reikartz Sky Almaty might not have that flashy 5-star
luxury hotel vibe, but
I highly recommend it as a place that was completely satisfying in terms of
value, room condition, location, breakfast, and views!
In particular, the view of Almaty from the rooftop is hands down the best 💚
