Spicy Basil Pork Rice Bowl Review |
I ordered the Pad Krapow Moo Sap, which is a classic Thai dish.
It's essentially a delicious rice bowl featuring stir-fried minced pork with fragrant basil.

The dish arrived with a generous portion of rice and the flavorful pork stir-fry,
topped with a perfectly cooked fried egg that I added on.

For me, it had a pleasant kick of spice, but when eaten with the fried egg and rice,
the flavors balanced out beautifully, making each bite wonderfully moist and delicious.

Spice tolerance varies, of course, so if you're not a fan of heat,
it's always a good idea to **ask if they can make it less spicy** when you order.

Beyond the food, the friendly service truly stood out. When I asked for directions to the restroom,
the staff kindly guided me, making the whole experience even better.

Nearby Attractions & Recommended Itinerary |
Ran Tub Nhoi is perfectly located to combine with a visit to Wat Phra Singh and the Sunday Market.
Wat Phra Singh
This stunning temple is very close to the restaurant, making it easy to incorporate into your meal plans.
If you plan to explore the temple, be sure to visit during its opening hours!

Sunday Market
After browsing the vibrant market, stopping at a nearby restaurant like Ran Tub Nhoi saves you the hassle of traveling elsewhere for food.

Mini's Top Tips |
1. Double-Check Market Operating Hours and Restaurant Closing Times |
Just because the market is open late doesn't mean the restaurants are. If you're planning a dinner,
always confirm their operating hours and last order times.
2. Confirm Base Prices and Any Additional Charges |
Adding the cost of a fried egg or a drink to your main dish price helps you easily budget for your meal.
3. For Spicy Rice Bowls, Consider Adding a Fried Egg |
Breaking the yolk and mixing it with the rice and meat was a fantastic combination for me.
If you order a spicy rice bowl, give this tip a try!
Overall Review |
