The Pullman Phu Quoc is a mere 10-minute drive from the airport. When I'm choosing a place to stay, proximity to the airport is always a major factor. Being able to relax quickly after a long flight is such a huge advantage – who wants a lengthy commute after hours of travel? This Phu Quoc resort definitely earned top marks in that department.

We checked in late at night, but the staff greeted us warmly, setting a positive tone from the very first moment. If you arrange the airport pickup shuttle in advance, you won't have to worry about dragging your luggage around. They offer a complimentary airport shuttle service, which is a huge bonus! Just remember to book it in advance to avoid any hassle with your luggage.

02. Ocean View Rooms at This Phu Quoc Resort

Our room, featuring a plush king-sized bed, a comfortable sofa, and a private balcony, offered ample space for two. I highly recommend opting for an ocean view; waking up to the combined sight of the sparkling pool and the endless sea was pure bliss and truly set the vacation mood.

The separate bathtub, shower, and toilet areas meant we never felt cramped while getting ready. Plus, the provided amenities were comprehensive, so we didn't need to pack much extra.

03. The Pool & Mango Bingsu: Don't Miss Out!

Honestly, the magnificent pool was the deciding factor for choosing this Phu Quoc resort. It's even more expansive and beautiful than the photos suggest! With complimentary sunbeds and towels, you can easily spend your entire day lounging here. If you love swimming, you won't get bored, even after hours of splashing around.

I personally recommend visiting between 4-6 PM to catch the breathtaking sunset. If you prefer a morning dip, make sure to secure your sunbed early, as they tend to fill up during breakfast!

And seriously, don't miss the mango bingsu (shaved ice) at the lobby bar. The mangoes are incredibly sweet, and combined with the milky ice, it's a refreshingly delicious treat. It's the perfect pick-me-up when the tropical heat starts to get to you!

04. Breakfast & Booking Tips

Breakfast offers a fantastic spread, from Vietnamese specialties to Korean, Western dishes, and fresh fruits. The variety ensures you'll find something new and delicious each morning, even during a longer stay.

The Pullman Phu Quoc Resort's breakfast dining spot, Salt & Pepper, transforms into a fantastic dinner venue. Their seafood platter and wood-fired pizzas come highly recommended and are perfect for sharing with family or friends.

A quick note: the open-plan bathroom might be a consideration if you're sensitive to humidity. Otherwise, my overall satisfaction was very high. If humidity is a concern, bringing a small travel dehumidifier could be helpful.
