Phu Quoc Premier Village Garden Villa Review
Our honest 3-night, 5-day stay with 2 families (6 people total) + Booking Tips
Hey guys! Today,
I’m sharing my review of the Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort,
which we absolutely loved as our family getaway destination🤍
When you search for accommodations in Phu Quoc,
so many hotels pop up!
Since we were traveling as two families with kids,
we spent a lot of time weighing our options and initially booked New World.
But right before our trip, we found out a VIP—some king or high official—was staying at New World,
so we ended up switching to the Premier Village Garden Villa lol.
To give you the spoiler:
We were absolutely, 100% thrilled with Premier Village Phu Quoc!
Today, I'm going to share our real experience of staying here for 3 nights and 5 days,
including the pros, the cons,
and why we chose the Garden Villa over the Ocean Villa :)

The Premier Village Resort Map at a Glance
Premier Village is actually massive.
When you first arrive, you might wonder:
"Where's the breakfast restaurant?"
"Where's the main pool?"
"How do I catch a buggy?"
It can be a bit confusing at first,
so it’s super helpful to look at the map beforehand.
👇 Here is a quick guide to make it easy for you!
We stayed in the Garden Villa zone,
and we took a buggy most of the time to go for breakfast or to the main pool!
(If you download the Premier Village app,
you can easily call a buggy right from there.)

When I compared prices, they often run promotions, so I highly recommend checking your travel dates!

The Room We Booked
The villa we stayed in was:
🏡 Garden Villa (3-Bedroom + Private Pool)
The room setup:
✔ 1 King Bed (2m)
✔ 1 Queen Bed (1.8m)
✔ 2 Single Beds (1.1m)
With three bedrooms in total,
it was the perfect layout
for a family trip or a getaway with friends.

Why It Was Absolutely Perfect for Two Families (6 People)
Our group consisted of:
👨👩👧 Mom + Dad + Daughter
👨👩👦 Mom + Dad + Son
Total of 6 people!
Since there were three bedrooms,
each family got their own room,
and the extra room became a playroom for the kids lol.
The kids ran around and played between the bedrooms and the living room,
while the adults chilled in the living room with some cold beers.
It was amazing because we didn't get in each other's way.
Though there was a minor head-butting incident while the kids were running towards each other, haha!
Honestly, booking this was so much better and more satisfying than booking multiple separate hotel rooms!

The Private Pool Was Absolutely the Best
This was the dads' favorite spot!
Haha!
While the moms and kids were visiting the zoo,
the dads came back from playing golf and were already in the pool swimming lol. So funny!
A swim after breakfast,
another swim after lunch,
and yet another swim after dinner lol.
Our little Jo... didn't really like swimming back then.
So we just chilled under the AC,
lounging around... haha, while watching Lya having a blast!
The main pool is great, but having our own private space to play comfortably was a huge plus.
We didn't have to worry about anyone else, the photos turned out stunning,
and whenever we wanted to rest, just lying on the sunbeds was pure healing.
Since Phu Quoc is quite hot,
having a private pool right at our villa
made our stay so much more incredible!

Loved the Super Spacious Living Room!
The living room was way bigger than I expected.
It was spacious enough for all six of us to sit around comfortably,
and it was the perfect spot to grab some local fruit and beers
for a late-night snack session! :)
Having a kitchen was incredibly convenient
for prepping light meals and snacks,
and the full-sized fridge kept all our drinks ice cold.
These little details are exactly what make staying here so much better than a standard hotel!

Garden Villa vs. Ocean Villa: What’s the Difference?
This was the absolute hardest decision for me when booking!
I searched everywhere online,
but there weren't many detailed comparisons out there.
So, here is a quick breakdown to make it easy for you:

In the end, the biggest difference is the view!
Since the room layouts and amenities are practically identical,
it really just comes down to how important an ocean view is
to your holiday vibe.

Why we chose the Garden Villa
Let’s be honest, when you travel,
you don't actually spend that much time inside the room, right?
✔ Sightseeing (safari, golf course, local markets, kids' cafe)
✔ Food hunting
✔ Swimming
✔ Massages
Since we knew we'd be out exploring most of the time,
we opted for the Garden Villa instead of the Ocean View!
The verdict?
Absolutely zero regrets! Haha.
The lush, tropical landscaping was gorgeous,
and it felt incredibly peaceful and private.
(We even spotted a monkey! 🐒)

Breakfast was a hit!
The breakfast spread offered a really nice variety.
Vietnamese Pho
Omelets
Pastries & Cereal
Fresh Fruit
Salads
Local Vietnamese dishes
With plenty of options for kids, too,
it was a huge hit for our family trip.
Fueling up with a hearty breakfast
was the perfect way to start our busy days.
Though, I have to admit, I was so hot...
The AC wasn't exactly freezing cold. 😭
My husband kept reminding me, "That's just Vietnam for you!" haha.

How was the location?
Since Premier Village is located
in the southern part of Phu Quoc,
✔ Sunset Town
✔ Hon Thom Island Cable Car
✔ Kiss Bridge
getting around to these key spots was a breeze!
If your itinerary focuses on the south, you'll love this location!

Final Thoughts
During this Phu Quoc getaway,
our accommodation was easily one of the highlights!
✔ Since the resort is absolutely massive,
I highly recommend saving a screenshot of the map below before you go!
With 3 bedrooms, it was incredibly comfortable for two families to share,
and thanks to our own private pool,
the kids had a blast swimming all day long.
Best of all, traveling as a group of six
meant we could split the cost,
making it surprisingly budget-friendly for a luxury stay!
If you are searching for
the ultimate family resort in Phu Quoc,
I highly, highly recommend the Premier Village Garden Villa!
You seriously won't regret it!
If an ocean view isn't a dealbreaker for you,
the Garden Villa will give you
an absolutely unforgettable vacation. 😊
