Planning a trip to Porto?
Porto is a charming Portuguese city that has captured the hearts of many,
and it's particularly popular among Korean travelers.
It was one of the destinations I truly enjoyed.

Today, for those of you planning a trip to Porto,
I'll be sharing the 3-day Porto itinerary I personally experienced.

I've outlined the Porto 3-day travel itinerary
in the table below, giving you a broad overview.
Day | Activities |
Day 1 | Arrive in Porto, Hotel check-in, City sightseeing, Night view |
Day 2 | Graham's Winery, Douro River boat ride, Porto photoshoot |
Day 3 | City sightseeing & Travel to next destination |
Before diving into the detailed itinerary,
for those who haven't booked their Porto accommodation yet,
I want to share a hotel I absolutely loved and highly recommend.

It's none other than The House of Sandeman Hotel.
The Sandeman Hotel is located in the Gaia district, offering
truly excellent access to all the sights.
You can walk to places like Jardim do Morro, Serra do Pilar Monastery, and more,
all on foot.

But what truly sets this hotel apart is its absolutely stunning views.
It's especially perfect for honeymooners,
offering a stay where you can fully immerse yourselves in the romance of Porto.

If you're going to book, I highly recommend opting for a Douro Riverside view room.
You can check out and book The Sandeman Hotel directly below.
(After comparing prices, I found that booking through the link below is currently
the most affordable option.)

Now, let's continue with the detailed 3-day Porto travel
itinerary.
Day 1

On your first day in Porto, you'll arrive in the morning,
drop off your luggage at the hotel, and then it's time to
explore the city center!

Livraria Lello, Carmo Church, São Bento Railway Station,
Dom Luís I Bridge, Serra do Pilar Monastery, and more!
You'll get to visit all the main attractions in Porto's city center.

Therefore, for travelers whose stay in Porto
isn't very long, I highly recommend this itinerary.
On the first day, you can enjoy a fulfilling day exploring Porto,
from its city center to its stunning night views.
Day 2
On Day 2, your schedule includes visiting a port wine winery – Porto's specialty –
taking a Six Bridges boat trip,
and capturing some memorable Porto snapshots.

Porto is home to many port wine wineries,
and among them, I want to recommend a place that nails both taste and views:
Graham's Winery.

The biggest advantage of this place is its absolutely stunning view!
What's more, the port wine itself was incredibly delicious.

Enjoy the romance of sipping wine
while gazing at that magnificent view.
I also recommend picking up a bottle of port wine
from the souvenir shop!
Next, after lunch,
I recommend hopping on the Six Bridges Cruise.

This cruise takes you past the six iconic bridges along the Douro River,
allowing you to truly soak in the romance of Porto!

To wrap up your second day, if you're on a honeymoon or a family trip,
I highly recommend capturing some beautiful snapshots in Porto's charming city center.

Porto has such a unique charm and atmosphere of its own,
that photos taken here turn out far more beautiful than anywhere else.

Especially during sunset, photos taken around Morro Garden
and the monastery are truly breathtaking.
Day 3
The final Day 3 is when you'll be moving on to another city,
so you'll need to plan your itinerary flexibly
depending on your travel time.

For those, like us, who are moving in the afternoon,
I recommend spending the morning relaxing and rejuvenating at the Crystal Palace Gardens (Jardins do Palácio de Cristal).
It's a definite must-visit!

At the Crystal Palace Gardens, you can marvel at various
birds like peacocks and chickens, and
soak in breathtaking Douro River views, almost as if you're standing on an observation deck.

If you're short on time and can't make it all the way to the Crystal Palace Gardens,
you can always enjoy some light souvenir shopping
to beautifully conclude your Porto adventure!

Today, I’ve laid out a fantastic 2-night, 3-day itinerary,
especially for all you global explorers gearing up for an unforgettable journey to Porto.
If you follow the itinerary I've shared, you're guaranteed to have
an incredibly rich and rewarding travel experience in Porto!
