After enjoying a delicious breakfast, the craving for a perfect cup of coffee hit. We set out to find the closest cafe to our hotel.
Our search led us toward the bustling Sonasi Night Market, seemingly the closest hub.
However, finding an open coffee shop proved surprisingly difficult. We walked a significant loop, checking Google Maps (and feeling our energy levels dip already!). Several promising cafes marked on the map were unfortunately closed for the day, or undergoing renovations.
We actually found another coffee shop the next day, but by then, we'd already had our coffee fix, so we just passed by.
This place became our go-to, visiting twice during our stay at the Best Western hotel
It's conveniently located right near the entrance of the Sonasi Night Market, making it super easy to find.
After our morning meal, it seemed like the only place open and ready to serve! 😉

MR NHAT STORE functions as both a restaurant and a beverage spot. They open early, which is a huge plus, and their menu was easy to navigate, even with English options readily available.
Their Google reviews were impressive, and we learned it's a family-run business. A friendly young woman took our order, communicating perfectly in English.
On our first visit, we decided to try both their Coconut Coffee and their Salt Coffee.
And the winner was clear: Salt Coffee by a landslide!
The salt coffee boasted a wonderfully thick, creamy layer with just the right hint of saltiness, making it utterly delicious.
While the coconut coffee was sweet, its balance felt off, resulting in a rather bitter taste.
Even my husband, who typically enjoys strong coffee, agreed that the salt coffee was superior.
Sipping this amazing coffee while relaxing by the pool felt like pure bliss!
On our second morning, we didn't hesitate – we went straight back and ordered two salt coffees. We also noticed several other international travelers enjoying their breakfast there.
This time, an older gentleman was taking orders, not the young woman from the day before. I admit, I had a slight worry the taste might change, but thankfully, the salt coffee was just as delicious as ever!
Honestly, I hadn't planned on writing a post about a coffee shop – I didn't have particularly high expectations for cafes in general...
...but then my husband tried salt coffee elsewhere, expecting the same incredible flavor. He was disappointed! We'd heard that all Vietnamese coffee is amazing, right?
It was then that we truly realized just how special MR NHAT STORE's coffee was. That's why I'm sharing this review!
It truly was an unexpected gem for salt coffee lovers. If you're a fan of creamy, rich coffee, I absolutely recommend you give it a try!
