Seashells Hotel, which we highly recommend as a value-for-money ocean view accommodation in Phu Quoc, was the very first place we booked when searching for our stay in Phu Quoc.

Phu Quoc has such a diverse range of accommodations that

we seriously deliberated where to stay.

But this hotel offered incredible value for the price and its location was unbeatable,

so we just booked it right away! Haha.

My honest review of Seashells Hotel, a fantastic value-for-money stay I paid for myself, starts now!

📌 Seashells Hotel Location 📌

Located near Long Beach, it's super close to the sea,

and we could walk to Duong Dong Night Market in less than 10 minutes!

It was incredibly convenient to get to the night market, making it perfect for evening strolls and exploring,

plus, there were plenty of supermarkets and massage shops nearby, which was a huge bonus!

Things I considered while looking for accommodation in Phu Quoc ⬇️

Is the price reasonable?

Does it have a pool?

Does it have a sea view?

Is the breakfast delicious?

Is the location convenient?

To book the Seashells Hotel, which checked all these boxes,

I checked various sites like Naver and HotelsCombined.

Agoda turned out to be the cheapest, so I proceeded with the booking there.

It's a 5-star hotel, and it was only around ~$74 per night!!

I booked the Classic Double Room, which was in great condition

(King bed with a sea view and a balcony 👍).

Based on the dates I booked, 2 nights cost ~$185.

Amazing value for money!!

Seashells Hotel & Spa Phu Quoc. As its name suggests, the hotel's charming seashell-inspired design is a major draw!

Right next to the hotel, a beautiful stretch of beach unfolded before our eyes.

Stepping inside the Seashells Hotel, our recommended value-for-money ocean view accommodation in Phu Quoc,

we were greeted by an incredibly spacious lobby, and the sea shimmering beyond the windows

was absolutely stunning.

It definitely had that luxurious 5-star hotel vibe.

Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out,

making your travel experience relaxed and convenient.

When we went to check in, the reception was quite busy,

so a staff member kindly asked us to take a seat and wait for a moment.

They even offered us a refreshing welcome drink, which was a lovely touch!

(I'm not sure what flavor it was, but it was definitely good!).

Once the crowd thinned out, a staff member came over and kindly

assisted us with the check-in process.

Please note that a deposit of 1,000,000 VND is required at check-in!

If you pay by card, the refund might take a few days,

so if you have cash, it's a good option.

The Seashell Hotel's lobby was so wonderfully spacious,

making it an ideal spot to just relax.

While waiting for check-in, I popped over to the window

and snapped a glimpse of the Seashell Hotel's pool.

They even had swings and playground equipment,

absolutely perfect for little ones to enjoy!

The Seashell Hotel in Phu Quoc, with its stunning ocean views,

looks like a wonderful place for a family vacation too!

Despite the light drizzle, there were still people

enjoying themselves in the pool!

Well, if you're getting wet anyway, a little rain just adds to the atmosphere, doesn't it?

Check-in was done, so I decided to wander around

and find the path to the pool.

I also snapped a photo of the charming umbrellas

by the elevator, boasting that unique Vietnamese vibe.

The pool entrance is conveniently located near the elevator!

Opening the entrance door, I found changing rooms and showers,

plus handy washbasins.

Step right out, and you're directly connected to the pool!

Right outside the door, to the right of the lifeguard, you'll find

plenty of large beach towels ready to borrow and use.

There were also plenty of lounge beds, perfect for some serious relaxation.

I absolutely loved the pool's long, continuous style,

stretching all the way from left to right.

When it comes to pools, bigger is definitely better~

A view where the ocean and pool beautifully merge,

with palm trees adding to that ultimate resort feeling!

Though I wished for sunnier weather,

just gazing at this view brought me pure joy.

After checking in, we were assigned room

1332.

The Seashell Hotel welcomed us with its long, inviting corridors.

The room instantly charmed me the moment I opened the door!

A huge, welcoming bed greeted me,

with glimpses of the ocean visible beyond the curtains.

Our actual honeymoon was in Europe, and since this was our first time

on a proper relaxation trip, I mentioned 'honeymoon' when booking.

They surprised us with these super cute swan decorations, lol!

True to its 5-star rating, the room was absolutely immaculate.

You'll find a hat in the closet, right alongside the cozy bathrobe

(Absolutely perfect for a tropical getaway!)

Two bottles of complimentary water are waiting for you, but keep in mind that anything else in the fridge—

the other drinks and beers come at an extra cost.

Good to know: the hairdryer is tucked away in the closet drawer!

Curiosity got the best of me, so I stepped out onto the balcony,

and it was the perfect spot to just sit for a moment and lose myself in the tranquil water view.

And what a view! The pool stretched out right before my eyes – absolutely incredible!

Now THIS is what a truly healing and relaxing getaway is all about, wouldn't you agree?

Everywhere I turned, the expansive horizon stretched out, inviting my gaze.

Absolutely perfect for soaking in the water views and letting your mind wander.

Imagine this: on a day blessed with perfect weather, the pristine sea sparkles, and you can even

catch a breathtaking sunset! It doesn't get much better than that!

The bathroom, thoughtfully separated by a clear glass partition right next to the bed, might sound adventurous, but don't worry!

Simply lower the blinds for instant privacy.

The standalone bathtub looked incredibly inviting, perfect for

a luxurious soak with some bath salts – pure bliss!

And get this – there are even two sinks! No more fighting for mirror space, haha!

The separate toilet and shower areas are a thoughtful touch, making it

so convenient for shared use or simply enjoying more space.

Between the sinks, you'll find all the essential disposable toiletries, plus

hand wash and hand towels, all neatly laid out.

The moment I checked in and dropped my bags, it was straight to the pool for me!

Full disclosure: I snapped these pics with my phone safely tucked in a waterproof case, so some of them might be a little

hazy. But you get the idea!

And here's a fantastic tip: there's a pool bar where you can order refreshing beers or tasty snacks right to your loungers. Make sure to

give it a try!

Visiting Seashells Hotel? Then swimming is an absolute MUST!

The pool stretches out beautifully, so you can truly revel in the experience. I certainly did, haha!

From the far end of the pool, your gaze sweeps seamlessly to the ocean beyond, revealing

the pristine sandy beach stretching out.

It's a moment that just screams, 'This is Phu Quoc at its finest!'

After a glorious swim and soaking up all the fun, I returned to find

a delightful welcome cake waiting for me!

These thoughtful little touches really do warm your heart!

It looked like a passion fruit cake, and to my pleasant surprise,

it was absolutely delicious! I polished off every last bite, haha!

I swam and frolicked until the last rays of sunset faded and night settled in, and when I finally returned to my room,

the view of the illuminated pool and the sparkling night sea from my room was absolutely stunning.

If a truly healing and rejuvenating escape is what you need, then Phu Quoc gets my enthusiastic recommendation!

📌 Seashells Hotel Breakfast 📌

At Seashell Hotel, our ocean-view accommodation in Phu Quoc,

breakfast is served until 10 AM, so I took my time getting there,

visiting around 9 AM.

As expected, arriving a bit later meant it was quite busy!

Even with so many tables, the dining area was almost full,

and the staff kindly guided us to our seats.

The menu was incredibly diverse, offering everything from pancakes,

egg dishes, stir-fries, noodles, and rice dishes – perfect for breakfast!

Since I was in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, I had to grab a bowl of pho!

It was the perfect pho to kickstart the day.

I also snapped a picture of the adorable pancakes being grilled.

With plenty of breads, cereals, and drinks, you could pick whatever suited your fancy!

They even prepared egg dishes made-to-order right in front of you – just ask for what you'd like!

It was morning, so I tried just a little bit of everything lightly,

and as expected from a 5-star hotel, most dishes were incredibly satisfying.

I enjoyed breakfast twice during my 2-night stay,

and it was so good, I'd highly recommend it!

I want to give a huge shout-out to a lobby staff member at Seashell Hotel Phu Quoc.

I was waiting for my Grab, but the connection wasn't working, and I was starting to wonder what to do.

A staff member came over, kindly assisted me,

and immediately connected me with a hotel taxi driver.

I didn't have to wait at all, jumping straight into a taxi (seriously, so kind!).

And of course, they charged the same price as Grab – major thumbs up! 👍

(This is why choosing a great hotel makes all the difference, it seems!)
