I've arrived at the pool, which is shaped like a fish!

Even though it's the rainy season, the weather is absolutely amazing!

It only rained once during my entire four-day stay,

and quickly cleared up with hot, sunny weather!

Pullman Resort has one main pool,

and a small additional pool by the Beach House bar.

Since I planned to swim, I packed my swimsuit

and a hat.

As it was the rainy season, I brought an umbrella too.

Since my accommodation was in the central area, the central beach wasn't

as clear as I'd hoped.

The clarity wasn't quite what you'd typically expect from a tropical beach, feeling more like a tidal flat.

But as you head further south,

the ocean water definitely gets clearer!

Phu Quoc uses 220V electricity, so you likely won't need to bring a special adapter.

The yellow sunbeds really caught my eye.

I could hear birds singing,

and even spotted two birds nearby – what a lovely surprise!

There were plenty of sunbeds,

and it felt very spacious.

They even lend out towels for free!

We headed to

the Coconuts Bar by the pool.

Mango Lemonade (~$4)

Here, too, we just gave our room number and signed,

settling everything at checkout.

When in Southeast Asia, it just has to be mango, right?

I indulged in mango twice a day!

The mango lemonade had a hint of lemon,

and it was so rich and delicious.

The bar seats are lovely too!

You can also sit down and enjoy drinks and more after your swim.

You can even order via QR code from your sunbed!

The swimming pool is quite spacious.

However, there were some twigs floating around,

and while the shallow water was a bit warm, the deeper parts were nice and cool.

I think it would be even better if they could scoop out any debris with a net.

Tubes, seemingly without owners?

There were quite a few floating around,

with various sizes, both small and large.

So, I just used one!

It seems like you're allowed to.

There were balls available too.

Even at night, there were quite a few people swimming,

and the atmosphere was lively and wonderful.

Pullman Beach Resort Salt & Pepper Breakfast

06:30 AM - 11:00 AM

Pullman is famous for its breakfast, you know!

Even when we arrived late, around 10 AM, there were still so many people.

A lot of Koreans were there too.

But don't worry, there are plenty of seats and it's very spacious.

There are lots of outdoor seating options too.

Here, you'll find drip coffee, condensed milk, and regular milk.

There's also ice and even capsule coffee.

The staff will even ask if you'd like an Americano or a latte!

They even have wine!

And it's not just for breakfast;

you can also enjoy a full dinner here.

In the evenings, they sell dishes like Bun Cha, pizza, fried rice, and skewers.

For breakfast, there's chicken and barbecue.

The stir-fried bok choy was a bit salty,

but it was absolutely delicious!

Sausages

Bacon

Rice noodles

There's also Banh Mi!

You can add these

additional ingredients to your rice noodles,

I had Yakisoba twice!

Braised fish

and even Japchae!

Sweet and savory, just perfect.

Rose apples, these weren't to my taste.

They were a bit dry.

Then there were mandarin oranges,

watermelon, dragon fruit, and passion fruit.

They usually serve mango, but I guess it wasn't

mango season because it wasn't available at all during my stay.

The bread selection was diverse and absolutely delicious!

Even the water was tasty!

There were also peppermint and chamomile loose-leaf teas.

The yogurts were delicious, from strawberry yogurt

to a variety of other flavors! And the coconut ice cream...

It was truly amazing, but it only appeared once!

On other days, only vanilla and strawberry were available, which was a bit of a shame.

Mandarin oranges weren't really my cup of tea.

But oh, the bananas were so cute!

The kimchi was quite good,

and there was a wide variety of vegetable salads.

Chickpeas and red beans

were also available, and mixing them with vegetables was absolutely wonderful!

They even had Gimbap and cheese!

The milk was rich and creamy, so delightful!

And there was soy milk too.

And the coffee? Super strong acidity, as always!

And this fruit was totally new to me!

Turns out it's a rose apple, and honestly? Not a fan of the taste.

And the pho...

Chicken breast pho,

and then beef pho!

It was great how the menu rotated a bit, offering different options each time.

After a delicious meal, it was time to hit the beach!

And wow, what a stunning beach!

It's all so lush and beautifully maintained.

Beach House Bar🍸

Over at the Beach House Bar,

we decided to treat ourselves to 🎈Mango Juice and Passion Fruit (~$5).

The Pullman Hotel is part of the Accor group, so naturally,

everywhere we went, they kept asking

if we wanted to join the Accor membership.

Even at the Mad Cow restaurant, they brought it up.

Considering Mad Cow is pretty pricey for Vietnam,

an Accor membership with its potential discounts actually sounds like a good idea.

It's a paid membership, costing around ~$219-~$292, so I skipped it this trip, but

for future travels,

I think joining could actually be worthwhile.

Why? Well, even though the discount rates vary by membership tier,

it offers benefits across 5,000 hotels in over 110 countries worldwide.

You get discounts on food and drinks at hotel restaurants,

free stay vouchers or accommodation discounts,

welcome drink perks,

and perks like early check-in and late check-out.

It's a really diverse array of benefits!

And just as I hoped, it was absolutely delicious!

The mango here is seriously the real deal.

It feels just like Hawaii here!

I absolutely love it.
