so make sure you hit up The Lounge *before* MEO Kitchen! It's a must!

The Lounge is located right next to MEO Kitchen.

King Kong Mart coupons only offer discounts if you buy a lot,

so I couldn't use them.

Before going to MEO Kitchen,

I should have gone to The Lounge,

but I totally forgot... so I missed out on the discount. Ugh!

What's worse, I even saw someone just like me post about this in a travel group...

and it only hit me when I arrived at The Lounge! Argh!

MEO Kitchen

was always at the very top of everyone's recommended restaurant lists!

The interior is quite spacious,

and it's cool thanks to the air conditioning.

You'll find many Koreans here.

They have a Korean menu,

so we easily ordered the Family Set.

Family Set 580,000 VND, Tiger Beer 40,000 VND

Banh Xeo came out,

and its size was absolutely incredible!

The banh xeo pancake itself was the most delicious here.

But the rice paper for wrapping was a regular thickness, so it was a bit tricky to wrap...

And get this, the pho here was also the absolute best!

As expected, the pho is fantastic.

It has a very familiar and classic pho taste.

(And there's so much meat!)

And then there was the Banh Mi Chao, which left a strong impression.

I only just discovered Banh Mi Chao, and what a revelation, haha!

You get to make your own banh mi.

The banh mi bread was crispy,

and dipping it into the banh mi chao, or putting fillings in, was delicious.

It had plenty of sausage, meat, eggs, vegetables, and more,

and it was truly delicious.

After a satisfying meal at Meo Kitchen, we walked to Kingkong Mart and then Anba Cafe, feeling completely full!

They even kindly packed up our leftovers!

We ended up having enough for dinner later, too! Haha.

Kingkong Mart

Kingkong Mart really had everything imaginable! LOL.

As we walked, enjoying the sights of the streets,

we realized Kingkong Mart was a perfectly walkable distance.

The kids kept asking, 'Are we there yet?' a few times, but soon enough, we arrived! :)

From Kingkong Mart to Anba Cafe was also a pleasant walk.

Anba Cafe in central Phu Quoc was...

...the only cafe we visited in the central area! :)

I had planned to visit many cafes in Vietnam,

and really wanted to try The Cloud, famous for its delicious coconut latte,

and was curious about Hongsi Cafe too.....

But lately, I've become sensitive to caffeine....

so I had to be careful and couldn't visit as many as I'd hoped. T_T

Right from the entrance, it felt wonderfully exotic, which I loved!

It felt like being in a forest,

with a massive tree standing proudly in the center of the garden.

However, we opted for the air-conditioned indoors!

The interior had a warm, woody tone, giving off an 80s nostalgic vibe, don't you think?

Anba Cafe's menu is conveniently in Korean.

Honestly, I only wanted to try a coconut coffee.

But then I was torn between the Heavy Cream Coffee and the Frappuccino.

My husband said he'd have anything, so we ordered both!

The verdict? Both the Heavy Cream and...

...the Frappuccino were absolutely delicious! LOL.

I ended up having the milder Frappuccino,

but the Heavy Cream was fantastic too, thanks to its rich, thick layer of cream.

We also ordered some ice cream,

and apparently, the vanilla was even better than the chocolate!

Since 'Mango Unnie' (Mango Sister) was located very close by,

I left my husband and elder daughter at Anba Cafe,

and went with my younger daughter to find Mango Unnie.

Even though it's less than a 5-minute walk from Anba Cafe,

I couldn't find the sign,

so it felt like it took about 10 minutes to get there!

(It was hard to spot the sign because people were standing in front of the mangoes...)

I'd bought mangoes in Da Nang before (that time I ordered via Baedal K, a delivery service)

and ended up carrying them everywhere, snacking on them constantly, haha!

And yes, I ate them all by myself, lol!

I'd eat a little bit every day as a dessert after meals,

and I remembered 1KG wasn't enough,

so this time I grabbed a full 2KG, haha!

They pick your mangoes on the spot, peel and prepare them instantly,

and then pack them up for you right away!

2 kilograms for 80,000 VND

Turns out, even 2 kilograms wasn't enough this time! ;;;;

Central Phu Quoc Foodie Find - Em Oi

Apparently, 'Em Oi' means 'dream' in Vietnamese!

Even the sign is in Korean, haha!

You'll find it right across from King Kong Mart!

The interior is super clean too.

There's seating available on the second floor for dining in.

Unfortunately, the restroom was broken down, ;;

so I ended up popping over to the nearby Emperor Barbershop (I noticed their Korean sign!).

They were incredibly kind ㅠㅠㅠ

We picked up some Banh Mi to take to the airport, getting them packed up.

I grabbed a coconut smoothie, while my husband went for a salt coffee.

Definitely recommend the smoothie over the coffee!

Two Beef & Cheese Banh Mi, and a Special Banh Mi

Phu Quoc Airport doesn't have many places to sit –

it's not that it's too crowded, but there genuinely aren't many benches or chairs anywhere! ;;;

So we just found a makeshift spot to sit and enjoy our meal, haha!

For me, the Beef Banh Mi was absolutely the most delicious!

No gamey smell from the meat at all, just a rich, savory flavor.

These spots are practically Phu Quoc's signature must-try eateries,

and as expected, they were absolutely delicious and so satisfying!
