1. Panviman Chiang Mai Breakfast Experience
The Panviman Chiang Mai breakfast spread offered a wide array of dishes, and while the taste was generally good, it was the variety that truly shone. We hopped on a cart to the main check-in building, where a sprawling dining hall awaited. Here, you could choose to dine al fresco, soaking in breathtaking views of the Chiang Mai mountains, or enjoy the comfort of the indoors. The restaurant is quite spacious, so finding a seat was never an issue.

I took a wander through the buffet corners to survey the delicious offerings. Among the many tempting dishes, the fresh fruits truly caught my eye – and for good reason! They were incredibly sweet and absolutely delicious. Make sure to indulge generously!

As you can see, the buffet featured delightful Korean-inspired dishes alongside a diverse selection of Western cuisine. The staff were wonderfully attentive, promptly refilling dishes as soon as they ran low, ensuring there was always an abundance of food to enjoy.

Of course, authentic local Thai dishes were also part of the spread, so if you're a fan of local flavors, prepare to be delighted!

It was a pure joy to indulge in a variety of egg dishes, from perfectly cooked omelets to sunny-side-up delights, prepared just the way you like them.

One of the most memorable highlights of breakfast was undoubtedly the pancake station! Head over there, and you'll be treated to freshly made pancakes, crafted right before your eyes – a truly delightful touch!

With a lavish spread featuring fried eggs, fresh fruits, savory sausages, and even spaghetti, I was able to enjoy a truly hearty and satisfying breakfast.

I chose an outdoor seat with an absolutely magnificent view for breakfast, and honestly, the panorama itself was the best accompaniment to the meal! The cool breeze and crisp, clear air made it abundantly clear why Panviman comes so highly recommended – it's an experience in itself.
2. Panviman Pool: A Refreshing Oasis
After a delightful breakfast, our next stop was the pool! Panviman Resort's sprawling layout means you'll be zipping around on golf carts to get everywhere. It’s a unique system that feels both a little adventurous and wonderfully convenient. Once we were ready for a swim, a quick call to information had a cart dispatched for us in no time – and it arrived promptly.

We made a quick stop at the check-in center, and I discovered that the hotel offers its own convenient shuttle service. They even provide tours, likely in partnership with local operators, and a dedicated taxi service for trips into Chiang Mai city. While Grab can be a budget-friendly option, utilizing the hotel's taxi service might be preferable if you want to arrange transport in advance, especially given Panviman's secluded location. Because of the distance, sometimes Grab drivers might request additional cash, a sort of out-of-town surcharge. To avoid any surprises, it’s always a good idea to chat with your Grab driver beforehand (using the in-app chat) to confirm the fare before you set off.

Stepping out at the pool, the sheer magnificence of the surroundings instantly took my breath away! I suspect many visitors are drawn to Panviman specifically for its iconic pool views, and the moment I arrived, it was abundantly clear why this place is such a magnet for travelers.

While the pool itself isn't massive, its unique charm comes from being split across two enchanting levels. However, I visited around 10 AM and found many of the sunbeds already occupied. So, if you're hoping to snag a prime spot, I highly recommend either arriving right when it opens for an 'open run' or heading over during the quieter, later hours, perhaps after check-out.

This is the information desk and breakfast restaurant visible from the pool. Isn't it absolutely stunning?

This floor also had a lounging area where several people could relax. Please note that these lounge spots are quite popular, so if you go too late, you might not find a seat!
3. Panviman Fitness Center
The Panviman Fitness Center is located near the swimming pool. As you can see, it has an open-air design, and while there were a few exercise machines inside, the variety wasn't extensive.

The fitness center's hours were a bit different from what I was told at check-in. At check-in, I was informed it closed at 6 PM, but the sign at the gym entrance said 7 PM. If you plan to use it, it might be a good idea to double-check the hours when you check in.

Towels were provided inside the fitness center, so you don't need to bring your own – please keep that in mind. And if you're looking for a fitness experience amidst nature, you absolutely have to visit!
4. Dinner at Panviman
Since it's a resort, you'll likely be having all three meals within the resort grounds. If you haven't brought your own food, dinner will be served at the same restaurant where breakfast is offered.

We headed to the Panviman restaurant to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset as the sun began to dip below the horizon.

We ordered coffee and watermelon juice, but the coffee was quite bitter and not very good. I recommend sticking to tropical fruit-based drinks here.

We settled the bill for dinner at checkout, and I recall dinner at Panviman being a bit pricey. While the cost was higher, the food itself was delicious, so if you're staying for several days, it might be worth trying dinner there at least once. (Definitely swing by a convenience store beforehand to grab some snacks and drinks! It's a must!)

On our last night at Panviman, we took a stroll near our room. Although it was quite dark, we got to enjoy the tranquility while stargazing.
Why not experience the night sky at Panviman for yourself? I tried to capture a bit of that feeling in a video. The rustling of the leaves and the twinkling stars at night were absolutely beautiful.

Panviman Room Review
📍 Panviman Spa Resort
VRH7+2G 197/2 หมู่ 1 Pong Yaeng, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai 50180 Thailand
Breakfast is served from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM, and the swimming pool operates from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The gym is available from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM according to the signage, but it's advisable to reconfirm the hours upon check-in.
To move around within the resort, you must request a golf cart. For transportation to Chiang Mai city, you can use the shuttle or taxi services provided by the hotel. If using Grab, please be aware that due to the distance, an out-of-town surcharge may apply, so it's best to confirm this in advance.
The hot pool is located at the 2nd-floor swimming pool and is small, accommodating only a few people. Since the pool can get crowded, we recommend visiting right at opening time (open run) or later in the day after check-out.
Dinner is available at the same restaurant where breakfast is served. While the prices are said to be a bit on the expensive side, the food quality is reportedly good. It is also recommended as a good option to stop by a convenience store beforehand to purchase some food items.
