Journeyed to Pai from Chiang Mai by mini-van and found my ultimate "life resort"! Discover why Pai Village Boutique Resort is a hidden gem right by the night market.
Hey there, it's Jinsengsu!
With the beautiful weather lately, my mind keeps drifting back to a past trip to Thailand.

One place that truly stands out as a life-changing destination for me is Pai, a peaceful rural village in northern Thailand.
To reach Pai, you take a minivan from Chiang Mai and navigate over 762 winding curves through the mountains⛰️
It's a long and challenging journey, but once you arrive, you'll discover a captivating charm that's hard to leave behind.
Today, I'm excited to introduce you to 'Pai Village Boutique Resort,' the accommodation that made Pai an unforgettable destination for me.🤍

✔️ Amazing Location: Steps from the Night Market and Live Bars
Honestly, when I was planning my trip to Pai, I spent a lot of time agonizing over the best place to stay.
I don't ride a scooter, and since Pai has a very rural feel, I was worried about encountering stray dogs on the streets. So, I really wanted an accommodation located right in the main town, close to everything.
(Seriously, be careful of stray dogs!)
But Pai Village Boutique Resort is perfectly situated at the edge of Pai's walking street, making its accessibility absolutely fantastic!‼️

Being at the far end of the main street where the night market sets up means it’s perfect for exploring the market late into the evening and then just a short stroll back to your room.
In fact, I went out drinking every night until the bars closed in the early hours, and the location was truly superb!👍🏻👍🏻
It's also close to the famous Jazz House, so I felt completely safe walking back alone at night!
I highly recommend this place for travelers like me who don't ride scooters.
✨ Lush, Private Bungalow Charm
The entire resort is designed like a quaint little village nestled in a forest.
You could honestly just spend all your time within the resort grounds.
All the rooms are private bungalows, offering a truly secluded experience.
I stayed in the Boutique Garden Room, which had the cozy feel of a charming hut built from bamboo and wood.

The room had both air conditioning and a fan, so even during the rainy season, it felt perfectly dry and fresh.
The bed even had a beautifully draped mosquito net, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep without any bug worries, haha.

On my first day, a charming towel elephant greeted me. And after a fun evening out, I returned to find snacks and a sweet goodnight message.🌱
It definitely helped me sleep even better! Haha!

The resort garden also features a pond with koi fish as long as your forearm, and a small, inviting swimming pool perfect for a quick dip. Just gazing at it all was pure relaxation.

👍🏻 The Ultimate Relaxation: Terrace Hammock and Free Mini-Bar

My absolute favorite spot at this resort was the terrace right outside my room.🤍
With a spacious sofa and a hammock, lying there, feeling the gentle breeze, and drifting off for a nap felt like pure paradise.
During my stay, the resort provided a beautiful basket of welcome fruits, which I happily munched on from my terrace. Talk about a perfect afternoon! 🍌🍎🍓🍊🍋

The resort's interior is so quiet and peaceful that you won't hear any noisy motorbikes or the hustle and bustle of the night market. Only the sounds of the wind and birds fill the air.🦜..🌿

And here's the best part: all the sparkling water, drinks, milk, and water in the fridge, along with the snacks on the shelf, are completely FREE!
When I checked in and they said 'free,' I kept asking, "Free? Free??" I almost thought I was dreaming!
🐓 Breakfast So Good, Even a New Zealander Loved It!

Breakfast is served buffet-style at the restaurant next to the reception, and the quality is surprisingly excellent!!
There's a wide variety of breads, homemade-style jams, and plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits.
The hot dishes, like Thai curry and fried rice, were also delicious, so I started my mornings feeling completely satisfied.
One morning, I was enjoying my breakfast at an outdoor garden table when an older gentleman from New Zealand struck up a conversation.
He told me he was staying at a different, more affordable hotel, but he loved the breakfast here so much that he paid to come here for breakfast every single morning. If outsiders are willing to pay just for the breakfast, you know it's a true hidden gem!
If you're heading to Pai, please, *please* consider staying here! I hope Pai Village Boutique Resort becomes your favorite stay too!🙏🏻
🌿 If you're looking for accommodation in Pai, I truly recommend this place!

Pai Village Boutique Resort is located at the very end of Pai's Walking Street, making it very close to the main street where the night market is held. It's convenient to explore the night market late into the evening and walk back. It's also near the famous Jazz House, making it highly recommended for travelers on foot.
All rooms at this resort are private, detached bungalow-style structures. The Boutique Garden Rooms have a cozy hut-like feel, built with bamboo and wood. The sparkling water, beverages, milk, water in the in-room refrigerator, and snacks on the shelf are all provided free of charge.
Yes, although Pai Village Boutique Resort is located at the end of the main street where the night market is held, the interior of the resort is very quiet and peaceful. Guests mention that they don't hear any noisy motorbike sounds or night market chatter, only the sounds of wind and birds.
Breakfast is served buffet-style at the breakfast restaurant next to the reception. It includes bread, homemade jams, fresh vegetables and fruits, and hot foods such as Thai curry or fried rice. The breakfast quality is reportedly so good that even a New Zealand grandfather staying at another cheaper hotel would pay to eat there every day.
