However, finding your way to the 3rd floor can be a bit tricky.
The buildings on either side are office buildings, so don't go in there.

2. Osaka Observation Deck

The Umeda Sky Building Floating Garden Observatory was completely transformed to match the festive Christmas atmosphere.
Being such an open space with expansive views, the White Christmas theme, with its striking sky-blue accents, felt truly magical.

In one charming corner, instead of just glittering baubles,
there was a tree photo zone absolutely brimming with adorable teddy bears, creating such a delightful and cozy vibe throughout.

When I visited last summer, it felt a little bare, but this time, with the beautiful tree and cute decorations,
the whole space felt so much richer and more vibrant – a truly welcome change!

Standing at approximately 170m, the Umeda Sky Building Floating Garden offers some of the highest and most
uninterrupted panoramic views of the entire Umeda area, letting you soak in Osaka's sprawling beauty!

There's a lovely cafe strategically placed at the very best vantage point, so why not treat yourself to a delicious drink while you soak in those incredible views? –

The cafe at the Umeda Sky Building Floating Garden Observatory has it all:
coffee, refreshing beverages, a diverse selection of beers, and even some tasty light snacks to keep you fueled!

And don't forget to check out their seasonal drinks! Apparently, this enchanting, sky-blue concoction is available all the way through Christmas.
The price is 1,500 yen (~$11), but honestly, when you consider the adorable teddy bear decoration, the scoop of ice cream, and all the thoughtful touches, it feels pretty reasonable for such a unique treat...!
2. Rooftop Observatory

Among Osaka's observation decks,
while there are quite a few places that can be considered outdoor observation decks,
the one place where you can **truly enjoy a wide-open, proper outdoor experience**
is **almost uniquely the Umeda Sky Building's Floating Garden Observatory**.
What's more, you can take in a 360-degree view of Osaka,
making it incredibly popular with tourists.

Compared to views seen through glass indoors,
the direct view from the outdoor space, with nothing in between,
was far more captivating.
The day I visited was clear, and feeling the breeze
while sightseeing probably made the scenery even more impressive.

The Umeda Sky Building's Floating Garden Observatory, famous as an Osaka observation deck,
is a place where you can enjoy an unobstructed view and a vivid experience
thanks to its outdoor space.
I highly recommend it as a must-visit spot for your Osaka trip!!
