My top recommendation for Osaka is Denden Town, located near Namba.
While Denden Town is traditionally known for electronics stores selling cameras and computers, many visitors flock here for a different reason entirely.
It's the ultimate spot in Osaka to browse anime-related merchandise and collectibles! Plus, you'll find dozens of maid cafes clustered around Denden Town, a unique cultural phenomenon that has gained popularity globally.
As you walk along the main streets, you'll spot staff from nearby maid and concept cafes handing out flyers in their distinctive themed costumes. Even if you don't step inside a cafe, it's a fantastic place to experience a truly unique aspect of Japanese pop culture. Its proximity to Namba makes Denden Town an absolute must-visit!

It’s renowned as a photo-op spot where virtually every visitor to Osaka captures a memorable picture in front of its majestic walls.
