Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi Review 2026: Prime Location, Great Value

Osaka Great Value Hotel

Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi

For your Osaka trip, if accommodation location and room condition

are both important to you, pay attention! 🤭

Let me introduce the hotel I stayed at

during my recent Osaka trip!

I visited just a month after it opened,

and I was really satisfied with the accommodation because it was exceptionally clean and the location was fantastic.

Plus, with starting prices from around ~$37 to ~$45,

the price is incredibly reasonable too!

✔️ This review is based on a direct stay in September 2026.

1. Hotel Introduction

🏨 Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi

🏩 Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi

The place I'm introducing this time is the Travelodge Osaka Shinsaibashi,

which newly opened in August 2026.

Travelodge is a brand that operates hotels

in various parts of Asia 🏨

With its recent opening in Shinsaibashi,

Osaka travelers now have another fantastic accommodation

option! 🏨

Best of all, as expected from a newly opened hotel,

I really loved the overall clean atmosphere.

The lobby was more spacious than I expected, making a great first impression,

and the rooms were also immaculately maintained,

allowing for a truly comfortable stay.

2. Hotel Location

In an Osaka trip, the accommodation's location is incredibly important, isn't it!

Especially in Osaka, with many travelers focusing their trips around

major tourist spots like Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Namba,

it's common to prefer places that are convenient for getting around.

This place is located right in front of Nagahoribashi Station,

making it convenient for using public transportation.

I loved that both Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori were within walking distance,

making the location truly excellent.

You can enjoy Dotonbori and Don Quijote late into the night,

and being able to walk back without a taxi was a huge advantage!

All three major convenience stores are nearby!

Lawson convenience store is right next door.

4. Room Review

Check-in is from 3 PM,

and check-out is by 10 AM!

Even if you check out at 10 AM,

luggage storage is available, so keep that in mind!

Luggage storage is available in the 1st-floor lobby, and

they even have the thoughtful touch of a scale to weigh your luggage!

When I choose accommodation, one of the most important things

I consider is the room's condition.

No matter how good the location is, if the room is old

or not clean, my satisfaction definitely drops.

In that regard, this Travelodge

Osaka Shinsaibashi was quite satisfying!

The room I stayed in was the

Standard Double Room.

Perhaps because it's a new hotel that opened in August,

the room interior was clean overall,

and the bedding and bathroom were spotless, which was great.

Japanese business hotels often have

small rooms,

and this place is no exception; the room itself is

on the cozy side.

However, what I personally loved was the ability to

utilize the space under the bed to

store my luggage!

In Japan, luggage space is often a challenge,

so being able to use the space under the bed was

fantastic!

While the room wasn't particularly spacious,

I was satisfied with how efficiently the space was used,

even having a small seating area.

Most importantly, it was wonderful to relax comfortably

in a clean room. 🤍

Being able to charge my devices directly with a

USB-C charger right by the bed was fantastic!

(Perfect for using my phone while lying down!)

There's also a TV right opposite the bed.

Netflix and YouTube were available for use.

5. Breakfast Review

This time, I decided to try out the **breakfast** as well.

Honestly, I visited without huge expectations,

but I was **more satisfied than I thought I'd be**!

When you're traveling, mornings can often be busy with sightseeing,

so it was great to be able to have a quick meal at the hotel

before heading out.

The taste was truly beyond my expectations! It was delicious.

As expected from Osaka, there was takoyaki,

a variety of breads,

and side dishes that pair well with rice.

And (though it's not in the photos),

the soup was absolutely my favorite (haha).

This hotel's breakfast-inclusive package

was also such a **great deal**, so

if you need a simple meal,

I highly recommend the breakfast package.
