Planning a trip to Osaka? Don't miss Pet Paradise in Shinsaibashi! We explore this popular Japanese pet store, showcasing adorable dog clothes, fun toys, and unique accessories.
For any devoted pet parent, stepping into Pet Paradise is like entering a wonderland you simply can't pass by.
This renowned Japanese pet supply chain offers an incredible array of products, from adorable dog clothes and stylish harnesses to durable leashes and engaging toys.
Whenever I visit Japan, I always make it a point to stop here, especially thinking of my own beloved pups back home, staying at the hotel.
During my most recent trip to Osaka, the Shinsaibashisuji Shopping Street location was perfectly situated, making it a natural and easy addition to my shopping itinerary.
Shinsaibashi Pet Paradise
Hours: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
Tax-free shopping available for purchases over ~$38

Right from the entrance, I was greeted by displays of 45th-anniversary Snoopy collaboration products.
Their sheer cuteness immediately stopped me in my tracks! These new collaboration items were prominently displayed right by the entrance.

The store was brimming with new arrivals, from character-themed dog outfits to bags and toys.

My own dog is a senior, so I tend to dress them in comfy indoor wear.
I was delighted to find many soft-textured indoor clothes. The material was so gentle and comfortable that I just had to buy one!

They also had an adorable Minions collaboration! The signature Minions yellow looked surprisingly cute on dog clothes.

I really wanted to try a kimono on my dog, Tan, but my boyfriend strongly objected, so I just admired them from afar. *Even if Tan is a boy, if it's cute, that's all that matters, right?!*

They also have a wide variety of character-face toys.
Pet Paradise toys are surprisingly sturdy; my dog, Tan, can chew on them, and they hold up really well. *I even toss them in the washing machine, and they're still going strong!*

I even spotted a product that combined a harness with a dog bag. It's such a practical item, perfect for walks without needing to carry extra bags, and incredibly cute too!

Keep in mind that sizing standards in Japanese pet shops can differ from what you might be used to, so it's always a good idea to double-check before buying.
They have dog clothes size charts available for reference, and if you're unsure, the staff are super helpful. Just tell them your dog's weight and breed, and they'll recommend the perfect size.

There were also plenty of princess-style outfits, but I figured they wouldn't quite suit my pups, so I just looked. If you love frills and ribbon accents, you'll be in heaven!

The LEE collaboration overalls were absolutely adorable, but unfortunately, Tan can't wear full-body outfits due to his patellar luxation. I would have bought one in a heartbeat if I had a dog nephew to gift it to!

They also had LEE-branded bags. My dogs typically weigh around 8.8 pounds (4 kg), so carrying them in a shoulder bag might be a bit much for me, but they'd be perfect for smaller pups!

You'll find Toy Story and Donald Duck products too! With such a diverse lineup of Disney characters, it's truly a paradise for any Disney-loving pet parent.

There's even a Mickey Mouse line! The classic designs are versatile and would suit almost any dog.

And check out these adorable rabbit and Winnie the Pooh designs! With their pastel tones and soft, plush materials, these clothes look incredibly cozy just by seeing them.

They also stock dog raincoats, an absolute must-have for rainy walks. I bought one on a previous visit, so I skipped it this time.
Pet Paradise is perfectly located for a stop during your Shinsaibashisuji shopping spree. If you're a pet parent planning an Osaka trip, I highly recommend checking it out!
⚠️ A quick note: While Pet Paradise does sell treats, I generally avoid buying them as some can be confiscated by customs. It's best to stick to non-food items to avoid any issues when traveling internationally.
Shinsaibashi Pet Paradise is open from 11 AM to 8 PM. It's located within the Shinsaibashisuji Shopping Street, making it easy to include in your shopping itinerary.
Yes, you can receive tax-free benefits at Shinsaibashi Pet Paradise when you purchase items totaling ~$34 or more. The store address is Japan, 〒542-0085 Osaka, Chuo Ward, Shinsaibashisuji, 2 Chome−3−28 London Building, 1F.
At the store entrance, you'll find 45th-anniversary Snoopy collaboration products on display. In addition, there's a diverse lineup of characters including Minions, Toy Story, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Rabbit, and Winnie the Pooh.
Japanese pet shops have different sizing standards than those in Korea, so it's highly recommended to check the sizes before purchasing. A dog clothing size chart is available in the store, and staff can recommend a size if you tell them your dog's weight and breed.
