Osaka Namba: A Brand-New Apartment Hotel

On my recent trip to Osaka, Japan, I was on the hunt for a spacious accommodation for four, and that's when I stumbled upon APARTMENT HOTEL 11 Kuromon!

It's just about a 10-minute walk from Namba Station, which made getting to Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and other major attractions incredibly convenient!

Plus, having Kuromon Market right next door meant fresh, delicious local eats were always just steps away!

01. Osaka Namba Accommodation for 4

Stepping off at Osaka Nippombashi Station and walking over, I was amazed at how incredibly close it was to the station!

Since it's an apartment hotel, it didn't feel like a typical hotel. It was more like a brand-new apartment building operating with a self-service hotel concept.

Just looking at the price, you might feel it's a bit on the higher side for an Osaka accommodation!

But after actually staying there, I realized it offers fantastic value for money.

The spaciousness, comfort, and amazing location all contributed to a highly satisfying stay!

02. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in was handled through a self-service system!

When it was time for check-in, the accommodation sent instructions via Trip.com message, guiding me through the process!

I received details on how to enter the hotel and the password for the key box at the door!

In Osaka, Japan, it's absolutely crucial not to lose your key, so make sure to keep it safe throughout your trip!

03. Inside the Accommodation: A Review

Perhaps because it's accommodation for 4 people, the moment I stepped in,

I was struck by how incredibly spacious it felt.

Most hotels in Namba, Japan, tend to be quite small,

often feeling cramped once you bring in your luggage!

But this new hotel was so incredibly spacious that even with multiple suitcases laid out,

it didn't feel inconvenient at all.

There were also charging adapters next to the bed,

with one Type A (two-prong flat) and one Type C.

The bathroom was on the smaller side, but it wasn't a problem to use.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided,

along with four toothbrush sets and even a hair dryer!

I also liked that the shower area and toilet were separated.

One minor drawback of this hotel was that the only mirror in the accommodation

was above the sink..

There was also an incredibly large, household-sized refrigerator

provided!

This fridge was a lifesaver throughout our trip, as we could buy large bottles of water from Japanese convenience stores and keep them perfectly chilled!

Having a washing machine and a terrace was another huge plus, especially for long-term travelers

who want to do laundry during their trip!

Since it was summer, we could immediately wash our sweaty clothes,

which meant they didn't get smelly by the time we brought them back to Korea.

An induction cooktop and sink were also provided for simple cooking,

and there were basic dishes like cups and plates available!

Once, I bought a bento box from a convenience store and realized I didn't have a spoon,

so I used one of theirs!

In this regard, it felt so much better than a typical hotel!

04. Accommodation Location & Advantages

One of the biggest advantages of this accommodation is its location!

📍 10-minute walk to Namba Station

📍 10-minute walk to Dotonbori

📍 3-minute walk to Nippombashi Station

📍 3-minute walk to Kuromon Market

Its prime location makes it incredibly convenient to get anywhere, and it's also a wonderfully

comfortable place to relax after a day of exploring, which is why I loved this accommodation so much!

The new hotel I stayed at during this Osaka trip was

the most satisfying among all the hotels I've experienced in Japan!

I loved that it wasn't cramped or stuffy like many typical Japanese accommodations,

and its proximity to everything was simply fantastic!

Personally, if I ever come back to Osaka,

this budget-friendly accommodation for four is definitely a place I'd revisit!
