Dotonbori Restaurant: Yakiniku Wagyu Menu & Prices

From premium A5 Black Wagyu to exquisite Kobe Beef,
you can savor a diverse range of flavors at Mitsuru Main Store.
You can indulge in various cuts of yakiniku,
and its prime location on Dotonbori's main street makes it incredibly accessible.
That's why I absolutely recommend it as a must-try yakiniku spot!
Let's dive into my dining experience at Osaka Mitsuru Main Store!
1. Mitsuru

Opening Hours | Daily 11:00 AM ~ 01:00 AM |
As you wander through Dotonbori, you'll naturally spot the giant cow sign –
that's Mitsuru! 😉

Behind the restaurant, you'll find another cow sign striking the same pose as the iconic Glico Man –
it's surprisingly famous as a photo spot.
There aren't usually many people around, so it's perfect for a relaxed photo op.
Make sure to stop by before or after your meal to snap some pictures!
📍 Entire-Cow Store Bought Wagyu Yakiniku Dotombori Mitsuru Main Store
Japan 〒542-0071 Osaka, Chuo Ward, Dōtonbori, 1-chōme−5−8 Shibata.Bld, 2F

Osaka Mitsuru Main Store is quite spacious, boasting about 200 seats.
Seating options include regular tables and private rooms.
What's more, tucked away inside are some surprisingly private two-person tables,
making it a great spot even if you're dining solo!

Since our group had six people, we were guided to a private room,
and enjoyed a wonderfully private meal with my companions 😗
Mitsuru Main Store is popular with locals, so there might be a wait depending on the time.
If you're looking for a more relaxed dining experience,
I recommend visiting during lunchtime.
If your travel plans are set, making a reservation in advance through Tabelog
would be a smart move, wouldn't it?
2. Menu

You can easily order using a tablet.
With support for Korean and plenty of images,
you can order without any hassle, even if you don't speak Japanese!
3. Dotonbori Wagyu Restaurant

The complimentary appetizer was a salad,
and the dressing was so delicious they even sell it separately!
If you like it, definitely consider buying some, haha.
I ordered kimchi because I wanted something to go with the meal,
and its crisp texture and subtle spice
paired perfectly with the yakiniku. It was fantastic!

Assorted 4 Types of Tongue 2,749 yen
This assortment lets you savor various cuts,
including Mitsuru's signature Grilled Green Onion-Wrapped Tongue.
The price isn't too steep, and the portion size is just right,
making it a great option if you're dining solo.

First, I tried the green onion-wrapped beef tongue.
The chewy texture of the tongue combined with the sweet freshness of the green onions
created a unique and absolutely delicious flavor.
It cut through any richness, leaving a clean aftertaste,
making it a truly memorable yakiniku dish.

Wagyu Harami Double Yukhoe 1,759 yen
This dish features harami (skirt steak) prepared as yukhoe (Korean-style beef tartare),
sliced in both yukhoe and sashimi styles,
allowing you to enjoy two distinct textures.
The textures were interesting, and it was fresh and savory –
perfect for a light bite while the grilled meat was cooking!

Kumano Beef Omakase Platter (Small) 11,000 yen
Since we had a larger group, we went for the omakase,
and just look at that presentation, isn't it incredible? LOL.
Served on a cow-shaped platter, it was a treat for the eyes,
and with its golden sheen, it certainly elevated the yakiniku experience
to a whole new level of luxury 😎.

If you're at Mitsuru in Osaka and overwhelmed by the vast selection of meats,
just like we were, I highly recommend ordering the omakase
to explore a fantastic variety of cuts.
If you have a bigger party, consider the medium or large sizes!

As expected from A5 Wagyu, the quality was exceptional –
it just melted in my mouth 🥹.
We also enjoyed the complimentary appetizer salad on the side,
and with two different sauces available, it was easy to dip to our heart's content.

There were even rare cuts that you don't usually get to try,
which made the experience even more exciting and enjoyable.

Fillet Steak 6,599 JPY
We also ordered and tried the **fillet (tenderloin)**!
Its texture was so tender, making it a delight to eat.
It wasn't overly fatty, offering a clean taste,
and with every chew, you could subtly feel the rich juices and aroma.
The aftertaste was clean and satisfying,
making it perfect as a final cut to round off the meal, haha!

Mango Pudding 549 JPY
For dessert, we ordered mango pudding.
Its sweet and tangy freshness perfectly cleansed our palates and settled our stomachs after all that rich food.
