2. Room Condition

Many hotels in Japan often have rooms so small that it's hard to even open a suitcase,
making cramped living a norm every time I visit.
However, Sarasa, one of the recommended hotels in Dotonbori, Osaka,
was comfortable to walk around even with my suitcase open.
(Single/Double room size: 14m²)
(Other room types like Twin, Triple, Deluxe, Connecting rooms: 16 ~ 36m²)

There's a small space right next to the door, which is where I kept my shoes!
I loved that it felt like a clear separation between the entryway and the room.

Hangers and room slippers were provided,
and there was a full-length mirror, perfect for a quick check before heading out.

The bed felt like a sweet spot between a queen and a king size,
and it was wonderfully spacious for two people.
Thanks to the incredibly plush and inviting duvet,
I slept like a baby, completely undisturbed during my stay!

Right by the bed, there were two USB ports and
one 110V outlet, which meant
my friend and I could charge our devices simultaneously.
Plus, there was a handy room light button right there, so I could
switch the lights on and off without even getting out of bed – talk about convenience!

There was even a cozy robe ready for use,
but I had brought my own pajamas, so I didn't end up using it.

Another thing I absolutely loved about the Sarasa Dotonbori Hotel room (a top pick for Osaka!) was the incredibly spacious table.
There was one table perfect for just my cosmetics,
and another that was versatile enough for laptop work or enjoying late-night snacks.
I really appreciated having options and used them exactly as needed.

And the best part? I could neatly tuck away all the essentials I needed during my stay right here,
which meant no constantly rummaging through my suitcase – so convenient!
It truly helped keep the space tidy and organized, which I absolutely loved!

Cups, a coffee pot, and a mini-fridge were conveniently tucked away underneath,
while a microwave is readily available in the lobby on the first floor.

When you're on the hunt for a great value stay in Osaka,
price and room condition are definitely key, but
the state of the bathroom is an equally crucial detail, right?
Well, the bathroom at Sarasa Dotonbori Hotel was just sparkling clean,
without a single water stain in sight,
meaning I could use it feeling completely fresh and comfortable.

Towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand wash were all well-stocked,
along with toothbrushes and rinsing cups.
3. Sarasa Hotel Breakfast: Fueling Up for Adventure

Now, let's talk about breakfast at the highly recommended Sarasa Dotonbori Hotel in Osaka – it was...
While the variety of dishes wasn't huge,
it was diverse, offering Japanese, Western, bakery items, salads, and more,
so I could enjoy a hearty breakfast tailored to my taste.

True to Osaka's reputation, the breakfast menu even featured
takoyaki and okonomiyaki!
With mayonnaise and teriyaki sauce right next to them,
they were tastier than most Dotonbori restaurants, so make sure to try them during breakfast 👍´-

They also had natto, the fermented soybeans that Jjanggu (Shin-chan) loves to eat.
Natto is super divisive, but I'm definitely in the 'nope' camp... haha.

With salads and bakery items available,
Sarasa Hotel's breakfast is also great for a lighter meal.

Water, orange juice, Americano, cafe latte, and more are available,
so you can help yourself and enjoy.

Even just with curry and kimchi, I could easily devour three bowls!
The salads were delicious, and the fried items were great, too,
so I made sure to enjoy breakfast every single day of my 3-day stay.

Right next to the breakfast area, they sold water, beverages, and alcoholic drinks,
which was super convenient because I didn't even have to go to a convenience store. Haha!

I've introduced the Sarasa Dotonbori Hotel as an Osaka Dotonbori hotel recommendation,
and with its excellent location, satisfying room conditions, and delicious breakfast,
it's a place I'd love to stay at again on my next trip.
Plus, it's a fantastic value-for-money accommodation in Osaka, making it even more highly recommended ✨
