Dotonbori: A Budget-Friendly Accommodation Recommendation in Osaka
When I travel, I'm often out all day, from morning till late evening,
so I don't really want to spend too much on accommodation.
That's why I often use capsule hotels,
and the Osaka Capsule Hotel Acro I recently visited
had reasonable prices and clean facilities.
Most importantly, it's located right in front of Dotonbori,
making getting around super convenient! All in all, I was highly satisfied
with the Acro Dotonbori Hotel in Osaka, so let me tell you more about it!

1. Acro Capsule Hotel
🛌 Acro Capsule Hotel Namba Dotonbori
Detailed Address: Ritz Bld, 2-2, 2 Chome-2-20 Dotonbori, Chuo Ward, Osaka, 542-0071 Japan

Acro Capsule Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Namba Station Exit 25,
offering excellent access to the station.
Its location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk to the Glico Man sign and Don Quijote Midosuji store,
and a 1-minute walk to 7-Eleven.

The Osaka capsule hotel building goes up to the 7th floor.
Floors 3, 6, and 7 are male-only capsules
and Floors 4 and 5 are female-only capsule hotel floors.
With clearly separated floors for men and women,
female travelers can stay without any concerns, which was definitely
one of the advantages of this accommodation 😗

Another great advantage is that it's a budget-friendly accommodation in Osaka.
Prices vary by season, but it's usually around ~$22 per night,
and male capsule rooms are even cheaper, starting at around ~$15,
so I highly recommend it for those looking to save on expenses.
The Acro's prices are overwhelmingly affordable
even among capsule hotels, so spots fill up fast – be sure to book quickly .ᐟ

Upon check-in, you receive a black bag containing pajamas and a towel,
which was convenient for carrying essential items during your stay.
Other basic amenities are provided separately,
so you can take as much as you need.
2. Female Capsule Floor

Luckily, I was assigned a capsule room on the 5th floor,
which made my stay relatively comfortable.
After tapping your card key to enter, you'll find individual lockers
and a space where you can freely store your luggage.

Inside the locker, I found slippers perfect for comfortably moving around Osaka Capsule Hotel Ark.
There was also a hanger, making it easy to store my outerwear,
and ample space for my bag.

The modern interior felt clean and was really appealing.
The 5th floor wasn't accommodating many people,
so it was relatively quiet and comfortable to use
compared to other floors.

If a capsule is all white,
it can sometimes feel a bit stifling.
But the rooms at Osaka's budget-friendly Ark accommodation
had a nice blend of brown and white,
creating a more relaxing atmosphere.
I even felt like I slept better because of it (?)

On the wall, there's a USB port and a 110V outlet,
along with buttons to adjust the time and lighting.
There's also an alarm function where
at a set time, the capsule light starts blinking,
and my eyes automatically opened, lol.
My eyes popped open in a sudden, bewildered flash of light 👀
3. Shower Rooms

The restrooms were also spacious and clean, making them comfortable to use.
When you enter the shower room, there's a space to put your clothes,
and then the shower area continues further inside.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided,
and as mentioned before,
you can pick up basic amenities at the check-in counter.

Osaka Capsule Hotel Ark is a place I'd especially recommend to female travelers.
The powder room has about 7 stations,
and each one is equipped with a sink and a hairdryer,
which made getting ready in the morning incredibly convenient! 👍´-

There are also washing machines and dryers,
so if you need them, they're great to use!
4. 5th Floor Lounge

Osaka Capsule Hotel Ark is highly recommended because it has four lounges on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 7th floors,
so they never felt too crowded and were pleasant to use.
With outlets available, it's also a great spot for laptop work,
and perfect for enjoying a late-night snack.

So, I've introduced you to Osaka Capsule Hotel Ark.
It's a budget-friendly accommodation in Osaka, priced at around ~$15-22 per night,
and the facilities are so clean that I could stay there completely comfortably and satisfied.
Being close to Namba Station and Dotonbori, Capsule Hotel Ark was also perfect for planning my travel itinerary.
