Today, I'll be introducing
the Jump Shop and Pokémon Center, both located on the 9th floor of Daimaru.
Since the Jump Shop and Pokémon Center are located on the same floor,
it's a fantastic route to explore if you're a fan of
anime goods or Pokémon products!
Jump Shop (9th Floor)
Tax-free shopping available
The Jump Shop is
a store where you can find merchandise from Shonen Jump series.
You'll find merchandise from popular series like One Piece, Jujutsu Kaisen, Haikyuu!!, Naruto, and Demon Slayer,
and I personally visited to check out the Jujutsu Kaisen and Naruto goods.
Regarding Sakamoto Days,
I didn't finish it because I lost interest midway,
but it seems to be quite popular in Japan,
as its merchandise corner was surprisingly extensive!
Here's the Demon Slayer merchandise zone!
It was great to see, as it's the most recent anime I've thoroughly enjoyed,
though the variety of merchandise wasn't as extensive as I'd hoped.
And here's the One Piece merchandise corner.
You could find keychains, mini pouches, towels, card-related items, and more,
with plenty of merchandise featuring designs of Luffy, Zoro, and Nami.
I also spotted towels designed to look like classic manga covers – so cool!
As Naruto was my very first introduction to Japanese anime,
this merchandise corner felt extra special!
My absolute favorite is Itachi❤️
Since it's an older series, it's often hard to find merchandise,
but this place had a fantastic and diverse selection!
Everything was conveniently organized by character, making it super easy to browse.
They also had Haikyuu!! merchandise!
It was cool to see since I just started watching this series recently,
but I'm not quite deep enough into the fandom yet,
so I just had a quick browse.
Pokémon Center (9th Floor)
Tax-free shopping available
At the entrance of the Osaka Pokémon Center,
you'll immediately spot impressive sculptures of the legendary bird Pokémon
Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, representing the Osaka branch!
There was also an information board celebrating Pokémon's 30th anniversary,
and underneath, you could find free guide maps featuring charming designs
of Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
It mentioned that 30th-anniversary merchandise will continue to be released throughout 2026,
so if you're a Pokémon fan, I highly recommend keeping an eye out
for those special 30th-anniversary items!
On one side of the Pokémon Center,
there was also a corner dedicated to Nintendo Switch Pokémon game-related merchandise.
Poképeace themed merchandise was also displayed,
including plush keychains, plush toys, acrylic stands, and various cushions.
Popular Pokémon plush toys like the starter Pokémon, Ditto, Mew, and Dragonite
were also on display.
The Pokémon plushies were organized by generation,
which made it easy for someone like me, who only knows the 1st generation Pokémon, to browse around.
Charizard is a very popular Pokémon, so it seemed
they had a dedicated display just for it.
This is the Poképeace merchandise corner.
There were plush toys, pouches, card wallets, keychains, and more,
and Mimikyu and Decidueye design products were also visible.
Here's the Pokémon stationery corner.
You could find stationery and accessories like memo pads, letter sets, pens, pencil cases, pouches, and card cases.
There were also Pokémon tote bags, picnic mats, drawstring pouches,
and small storage pouches.
You could find designs featuring Umbreon, Piplup, and Mimikyu,
as well as patterned bags with multiple Pokémon.
They also had Pokémon snacks, cookies, tea, tin cases,
and even Poké Ball-shaped packaged goods.
With Pikachu-packaged products and Hyper Ball design boxes,
they looked perfect for souvenirs.
There was also a wide variety of commemorative Pokémon T-shirts.
On one side, a Pokémon Café was also in operation.
Unlike the Pokémon Center, immediate entry wasn't possible;
it runs on a reservation system, so I recommend booking your desired time slot in advance if you plan to visit.
Daimaru 5% Shopping Coupon
Additionally, I received a special Daimaru 5% shopping coupon
at the information desk.
While it couldn't be used at Jump Shop or the Pokémon Center on the 9th floor,
I managed to buy perfume at Shiro with a
tax-free + additional 5% discount.
The 5% discount applies to purchases over 3,000 JPY and
is only available to foreign passport holders.

The 9th floor of Daimaru Shinsaibashi is a fantastic floor to visit
if you love anime goods or Pokémon merchandise, as you can explore
both Jump Shop and the Pokémon Center all at once.
It's also connected to PARCO,
so I highly recommend stopping by while you're shopping in the Shinsaibashi shopping district.
The Jump Shop and Pokémon Center are located side-by-side on the 9th floor of Daimaru Shinsaibashi. Since both stores are on the same floor and adjacent to each other, it's a great course for those who enjoy anime goods and Pokémon merchandise to explore together.
Tax-free benefits are available at both the Jump Shop and Pokémon Center on the 9th floor. However, the Daimaru 5% shopping coupon, which can be obtained at the information desk, cannot be used at the Jump Shop and Pokémon Center on the 9th floor.
There is a Pokémon Cafe operating on one side of the Pokémon Center, but immediate entry is not possible. If you wish to use it, you must book your desired time slot in advance.
