When choosing accommodation for my Osaka trip,
the most crucial factor for me was location.
No matter how great a hotel is, if it's far from the main tourist attractions, you end up spending more time on transportation than you'd think.
Especially since this trip included a Kyoto bus tour the next morning, I was looking for a place where I could easily explore Namba and Dotonbori,
while also being close to the tour meeting point.
Adding to that, I wanted to enjoy a hot spring after my travels, which led me to choose
Onyado Nono Namba Natural Hot Spring.

2 minutes from Nippombashi Station, 5 minutes walk to Dotonbori
Onyado Nono Namba is located approximately
a 2-minute walk from Nippombashi Station.
You can walk to Dotonbori in about 5 minutes, Namba Station in about 10 minutes,
and it's also close to Kuromon Market and Shinsaibashi, making it an ideal base for your Osaka itinerary.
There's also a Seven-Eleven right next to the hotel,
making it easy to grab snacks or drinks.

Kyoto Bus Tour Meeting Point: 2-minute walk
What I personally loved most was how incredibly close it was to the Kyoto Bus Tour
meeting point.
The Kyoto bus tour departed from Nippombashi,
and I could reach the meeting point from the hotel
in about a 2-minute walk.
The Kyoto tour starts bright and early in the morning,
so it was incredibly convenient to just walk there directly
without having to take a subway or taxi.
If you're planning to explore Dotonbori and Namba the day before
and then embark on a Kyoto bus tour the next day,
this location simply can't be beaten.

Experience Japanese Ryokan Vibes from Check-in
When you enter the hotel, you take off your shoes
and move around barefoot or in socks indoors.
The hotel interior is designed in a tatami style, giving it a distinctly
different atmosphere from typical Osaka city hotels.
Being in the heart of the city yet feeling like you've arrived at a Japanese ryokan
is another charm of Onyado Nono Namba.

Compact Twin Room
The room we used this time was an 18㎡
Compact Twin Room with two single beds.
Given the nature of Osaka hotels, the rooms aren't extremely spacious,
but if your itinerary involves sightseeing all day
and just sleeping, it's not a major inconvenience.
The beds are quite low, and the entire room has a calm,
Japanese-style ambiance, making it perfect for a comfortable rest.
While the bathroom is on the smaller side,
most guests use the large communal bath, so it wasn't
a big drawback, and you can open the window for ventilation.

Natural Hot Springs to Enjoy After Your Journey
The biggest advantage of Onyado Nono Namba Natural Hot Spring
is its natural hot spring communal bath.
The term
"Natural Hot Spring" in the hotel's name means natural hot spring.
It's not just a hotel with a communal bath; it uses natural hot spring water,
so if you're looking for hot spring accommodation in Osaka, I highly recommend it.
After exploring Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi all day,
being able to enjoy a hot spring right at the hotel
was perfect for relieving travel fatigue.
The communal bath also has free washing machines and paid dryers,
making it convenient for longer trips.

Free Ramen and Ice Cream
Onyado Nono Namba offers a variety of complimentary services.
After using the hot spring, ice cream is provided,
and you can also enjoy yogurt in the morning.
In the evening, they offer one of Dormy Inn Group's signature services:
complimentary Yonaki Soba.
They're perfect for a light bite when you're feeling peckish after sightseeing,
so I highly recommend enjoying them along with the onsen.

The breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes,
primarily Japanese cuisine.
Especially if you have an early morning schedule,
like a Kyoto bus tour the next day, it's so convenient to have
