If you are looking for gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows, incredible traditional desserts, and a peaceful atmosphere, you need to add this spot to your itinerary!
1. The Perfect Location

Nestled right between Cheomseongdae and Daereungwon, Omamori is exceptionally convenient.
Gyeongju is best explored on foot, which means you will be doing a lot of walking. Parking your car at a nearby public lot allows you to easily bundle these major sights together, with Cafe Omamori serving as the perfect midway sanctuary to recharge.
For those road-tripping through Gyeongju, this cafe is an absolute lifesaver due to its proximity to parking.
Make sure to read until the end—I have dropped a crucial parking hack below! ❤️
2. A Look Inside
The interior is incredibly spacious, and the aesthetic is even more beautiful in person than in photos.
When searching for Gyeongju cafe recommendations, you will find plenty of pretty spots, but many have cramped seating or tiny tables that make it hard to truly relax during a busy day of sightseeing.
Omamori Gyeongju, however, offers a wonderfully open layout with plenty of breathing room, allowing you to enjoy your desserts in peace.

The warm lighting combined with the massive glass windows creates a deeply soothing ambiance.
Whether you are traveling with family, friends, or a partner, the atmosphere here is bound to impress everyone.
The seating is divided into Western-style tables and traditional floor seating. If you are traveling with parents, the window-side table seats are highly recommended. If you are traveling with young kids, the cozy floor seating area in the back is a lifesaver!

A huge bonus for the floor seating: it features a recessed well under the table (horigotatsu style), meaning you can stretch your legs down instead of sitting cross-legged. It is incredibly comfortable for long chats!
3. Menu & Taste Review
We visited as a group of three and ordered a Matcha Latte, Jujube Tea (Daechu-cha), Cafe Latte, and the star of the show: the Injeolmi Dango Set (priced around ~$6).
Honestly, we initially planned to just grab coffee, but once we stepped into this gorgeous space, we couldn't resist ordering the dango set!

Just look at that presentation! It is an absolute aesthetic dream. 👏
The dango (chewy rice dumplings) had the perfect level of chewiness. The sweet, nutty injeolmi (roasted soybean powder) topping was incredibly generous, making every bite delicious from start to finish.
Since exploring Gyeongju involves walking several miles, having a wide variety of comforting hot teas on the menu is a massive plus.
The hot Jujube Tea completely melted away our travel fatigue. The Matcha Latte and Cafe Latte were also top-tier—rich, smooth, and beautifully balanced.
4. Insider Parking Hack
Finding parking in Hwangridan-gil can be a complete nightmare, but Omamori makes it incredibly easy.
📍 Nearby Public Parking Lot 1
97, Cheomseong-ro, Gyeongju-si (Invention Experience Education Center)
📍 Daereungwon Public Parking Lot 2
495, Hwangnam-dong, Gyeongju-si
Just outside the cafe is a small lane, and right across is a spacious public parking lot.
When the main Daereungwon lot gets full, traffic guides often direct cars to this secondary lot. It is an incredible convenience because as soon as you step out of your car, this beautiful cafe is right in front of you!
If you want hassle-free parking, a relaxing atmosphere, and incredible traditional-meets-modern desserts, Omamori Gyeongju is an absolute must-visit on your 2026 Gyeongju itinerary!
It is open daily from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM. The last order is at 8:00 PM, so please keep this in mind when visiting.
You can use the public parking lot next to Daereungwon or the public parking lot across from Cheomseongdae. Parking at the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education Invention Experience Education Center public parking lot or the Daereungwon public parking lot provides close access to the cafe.
The indoor seating is mainly divided into table seating by the windows and floor seating in the inner area. The floor seating, in particular, is designed with space under the table for your legs, allowing you to spend your time comfortably.
