3. Our Platinum Course Experience

We opted for the Platinum Course. Every buffet package starts with a complimentary chef's selection platter, which changes daily depending on the best cuts available.
On the day we visited, we were served beautiful, thick-cut beef ribs (galbi)!

We ordered a variety of yakiniku cuts, fresh seafood, salads, rice bowls, and grilled vegetables. As our orders arrived, the table was quickly filled with an incredibly appetizing spread.
While Nikusakana is great for solo diners, visiting with a group of friends is even better because it allows you to try a wider variety of dishes!

We started by grilling the beef ribs. They were exceptionally tender, juicy, and packed with rich flavor!
I was slightly worried that an all-you-can-eat restaurant might compromise on meat quality, but those concerns vanished with the very first bite.

With our Nomihodai package, we made sure to keep the drinks flowing.
Keep in mind that Nikusakana operates on a glass exchange system—you must finish your current drink before ordering your next one.

Next up was the skirt steak (harami) topped with crispy garlic chips. The combination of the rich, beefy skirt steak and the crunchy, aromatic garlic chips was absolutely divine—definitely my top pick of the night!

They provide two types of yakiniku dipping sauces. The classic sweet-savory house sauce was my personal favorite.

After indulging in the meats, we ordered a fresh seafood platter. We went with the mixed assortment to try a bit of everything, but you can also order your favorite seafood items individually.

Just like the beef, the seafood quality exceeded our expectations. It was incredibly fresh with no fishy odor, providing a clean and refreshing contrast to the rich, marbled meats.
Alternating between yakiniku and grilled seafood kept our palates excited throughout the entire meal!

You absolutely must order the seafood butter foil bake! Packed with shrimp, scallops, and squid, it cooks right on the grill in a foil packet, infusing the tender seafood with rich, aromatic butter.

To satisfy our carb cravings, we also ordered the Wagyu Sukiyaki clay pot rice (kama-meshi).
The menu is packed with fantastic side dishes like this, alongside salads, quick bites, and fresh veggies, making it easy to customize your perfect meal.

For dessert, guests can select one item each from the menu.
We chose the caramelized custard pudding and a scoop of rich, bittersweet matcha ice cream. Wrapping up a heavy meal of BBQ and seafood with these sweet treats was the ultimate palate cleanser.

Nikusakana in Umeda is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to enjoy premium yakiniku and fresh seafood in an authentic, local setting.
With an extensive side menu, high-quality ingredients, and unbeatable pricing, everyone in our group left completely satisfied.
The restaurant is highly popular with locals, so I strongly recommend making a reservation online before your visit to secure your spot without the wait!
The Silver Course, featuring unlimited yakiniku, is 2,500 yen. The Gold Course, which includes seafood, is 3,800 yen. The Platinum Course, which also includes Kuroge Wagyu beef, is available for 4,500 yen.
The all-you-can-eat course has a total time limit of 120 minutes. After ordering your course, you can simply scan the QR code provided by the staff with your smartphone to order your desired menu items directly.
The all-you-can-drink option operates on a glass-exchange basis. You can only order one drink per person at a time, and you must completely empty your glass before ordering your next alcoholic beverage or drink.
It is open from 16:00 to 24:00 on weekdays, and from 12:00 to 24:00 on weekends. The restaurant is located about a 2-minute walk from Exit M2 of Umeda Station.
