New Zealand, with its stunning natural landscapes

and relaxed vibe,

is a popular honeymoon destination.

Today, I'll be sharing my review of the

Auckland SkyCity Hotel, which I highly recommend

for anyone planning a New Zealand honeymoon!

Although I didn't go for a honeymoon,

after actually staying there,

I felt that its location, room condition, and accessibility were all

perfect for honeymoon accommodation.

1. New Zealand Honeymoon Hotel Recommendations

When choosing honeymoon accommodation,

location and hotel quality are most important, aren't they?

Among the many accommodations in Auckland,

the reasons I recommend SkyCity Hotel are

as follows:

✅ Directly in front of Auckland's landmark, Sky Tower.

✅ SkyBus (airport limousine bus) stop is

just a 2-minute walk away.

✅ Walking distance to nearby restaurants and supermarkets.

✅ Clean hotel rooms.

In particular, as it's at the center of Auckland's transportation network,

the public transport system for getting to nearby Mount Eden, Cornwall Park, etc., is well-developed,

and its proximity to Britomart Station

made it easy to take a ferry to Devonport or Waiheke.

2. Auckland's Best Value Accommodation

The SkyCity Hotel in New Zealand

offers excellent value for money

considering its location and quality.

In fact, most hotels in New Zealand,

even if their location isn't great,

often cost more than ~$148 per night.

Even though SkyCity Hotel is located right in the heart of the city,

I was able to book it for around ~$111 per night.

That's why honeymooners, or

families traveling with their parents,

often book this quality, value-for-money hotel.

3. SkyCity Hotel, Room Conditions

Premier King Room

The room I had the pleasure of staying in

was a Premier King Room.

It was a truly excellent room, perfect

for couples or honeymooners!

A spacious king-size bed,

and a large sofa perfect for unwinding.

There was even a wireless charger, so I could

conveniently charge my phone wirelessly!

The clean bathroom and amenities were absolutely perfect!

What I particularly loved was how consistently hot the water was.

And inside the mini-fridge, there was Anchor milk.

It seems most accommodations in New Zealand stock this milk!

Truly a nation of dairy farming, isn't it?

4. Auckland SkyTower Casino

The rooms are great, but

the hotel lobby is even more magnificent.

With the SkyTower right in front,

you get that 'grand entrance' feeling from the moment you step inside.

The casino is located on the second and third floors.

"Wouldn't you say it feels quite luxurious...?"

Your passport is essential when visiting the casino,

and if you sign up for the Premier Rewards membership at the 1st floor lobby,

they'll give you $20 in free casino points.

My family and I also got to enjoy a little bit with this.

(We lost it all, haha!)

Still, we were happy with the experience 💗

5. SkyDrive Bus Stop

Here's why I chose Auckland SkyTower

as my accommodation for the last day of my trip!

It's simply in the perfect location for

heading back to the airport.

The SkyDrive bus stop, which goes to Auckland Airport,

is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel,

so you can easily hop right on board.

Tickets can be purchased on-site,

or you can book them in advance on the website.

Boarding begins with those who have reservations,

followed by on-site purchasers.

I ended up buying my ticket on-site~

Today, I've shared my top recommendation for a New Zealand honeymoon accommodation,
