New York Flights 2026: Why Book Now on Trip.com?

December, Christmas in New York,

Many of you dream of visiting, right?

But starting in November,

New York flight prices are going up again.

As it's peak travel season,

flight prices have already started to climb,

and on top of that, fuel surcharges have increased for the third consecutive month.

So today, I'll share some golden tips on how to buy December New York flights

affordably and

when is the best time to buy!

---

November Fuel Surcharges,

New York sees an increase of over ~$30

If you book a round-trip New York flight in November,

the fuel surcharge alone jumps from around ~$544 (October standard)

to about ~$612.

(Based on Korean Air)

Assuming two people are traveling, that's ~$137 more,

and for a family of four, it's a whopping ~$275 difference!

With current US prices and tips on top of that...

it feels like you're spending money just to breathe.

If you start your trip paying an extra ~$75 per person,

your travel costs will be a huge burden, right?

So, if you're planning a winter trip to New York,

the answer is to book by October, or better yet, right now!

December New York Flights:

Where to Buy?

When I usually buy flight tickets,

I mostly use Trip.com or the airline's official website.

While there might be cheaper platforms out there,

Trip.com offers free cancellation within 24 hours,

and most importantly, I trust them.

I've seen many people who booked through just any cheapest platform

and haven't been able to get a refund for a year.

Travel is meant to be enjoyable,

so you don't want to be stressed out even before your flight.

That's why I primarily use Trip.com, as it offers relatively affordable prices

and is reliable.
