Home2 Suites by Hilton Times Square Review 2026: Breakfast & Residence Perks
Experience Times Square luxury without the hefty price tag! Our 2026 review of Home2 Suites by Hilton NYC highlights its prime location, residence-style rooms with microwaves, and complimentary breakfast. Perfect for authentic NYC adventures!

Even though New York Manhattan hotels are famously expensive,
I always dreamed of staying right in Times Square.
I ended up staying 5 nights in a Korean guesthouse in New Jersey
and 3 nights at a Times Square hotel.
✔ Just a 2-minute walk from Times Square
✔ A residence-style accommodation with a microwave
✔ Free breakfast for all guests!!
With incredible location perks, a microwave, and breakfast,
I'm excited to share my review of my stay at the
Home2 Suites by Hilton New York Hotel.
I'll also include detailed photos of the breakfast buffet.
1. New York Hotel Recommendation

Above all, this New York hotel boasts
a location that's absolutely unbeatable: just a 2-minute walk from Times Square.
While a great location usually means higher prices,
I booked it for around ~$222 per night even during peak season,
and it's typically around ~$185 per night.
Broadway, Top of the Rock, and MoMA
are all within walking distance, which made exploring on foot incredibly convenient!

Even though New York's safety is relatively good,
taking the subway late at night or walking through small alleys
can feel a bit risky.
Since Times Square is right outside,
it was great to watch the Times Square billboards at midnight
and then easily head back. (It's truly a spectacular sight when all the advertisements
simultaneously transform into works of art at midnight...)
2. The Times Square Hotel

I stayed in the Studio Suite Queen Room.
The room size was a spacious 24m2,
and with one queen bed and one sofa bed,
it can accommodate up to three adults.

When you unfold the sofa bed to the left of the main bed,
it becomes a single bed.
I didn't have high expectations, but the mattress turned out to be surprisingly
thick and comfortable!!
I slept soundly on the sofa bed all three nights! 👍🏻

Best of all, it's a residence-style accommodation
with a microwave in the room!!
This was actually a major reason why I chose this New York hotel.
It was perfect for buying Korean instant rice from a Korean market and microwaving it,
or spreading out at the table to enjoy takeaway pizza and bagels.

And isn't the bathroom incredibly clean?
I'm quite particular about bathroom cleanliness, so as it's a Hilton-affiliated
property, I was relieved to find it maintained so cleanly and modernly,
just like in the photos.
A hotel of this quality, just a 2-minute walk from Times Square,
is available for booking at around ~$148 per night!!
Agoda: ~$194 per night
Trip.com: ~$186 per night
*All prices include breakfast.
While Trip.com currently shows the lowest price,
prices can vary by date, so I recommend checking
for your specific travel dates.

3. Home2 Suites by Hilton Breakfast

Breakfast Dining Location: 1st Floor, Basement 1
📌 Home2 Suites by Hilton Breakfast Hours
: 6 AM - 10 AM
When New York's prices are so high that food expenses become overwhelming,
taking advantage of the free breakfast is a fantastic idea!!
Free breakfast in expensive New York City... what a score!👍🏻
What's more, takeout is also available, so
many people grab bagels, fruit, and pastries to go.
I highly recommend taking them for a picnic in Central Park!

The breakfast is a typical American spread.
There were always sausages, potatoes, and various egg dishes.
While the core components remained, the cooking style changed slightly each day.
This was the setup when I first had breakfast.

The next day, instead of sausages, there was bacon,
hash browns instead of roasted potatoes, and instead of scrambled eggs,
fried eggs were available.

In the bakery corner, you'll find sliced bread and bagels
of various kinds.
There's also a bagel slicer and an oven, so
it's great to slice your bread and then toast it before eating.
(Eating a bagel in the morning definitely made me feel like a true New Yorker!)

For fruit, apples, bananas, and oranges were always available!
Since fruit isn't exactly cheap in New York either,
be sure to grab some apples and bananas to stock up in your room.
Butter, strawberry jam, peanut butter, and cream cheese
were also available in individually packaged portions,
making them perfect for taking away and enjoying later! 😊😊

Cereal and waffles were also on offer.
They thoughtfully provided milk options like regular milk, low-fat milk, and almond milk,
catering to different preferences, which I really appreciated.

There was a variety of coffee and fruit juices available too.
It was great that decaf coffee was also an option,
and for fruit juices, there was orange juice and apple juice.
You could get as much as you wanted, unlimited!

Starting your day by having breakfast early like this,
really kept me feeling energized and ready for anything all day long!
Whether it was for an early morning tour, or needing to travel to a tourist spot,
I made sure to enjoy a hearty meal right up until my very last trip to the airport.

As we were seated enjoying our meal,
the staff would even walk around and hand out fresh bread!
Some days, they'd come by to offer an old-fashioned donut to try!
They really went around to every table, handing them out!!

Many people tend to dine only on the first floor, but here's a secret:
Breakfast is also available on the basement floor!!
It's smaller than the first floor, but it has its own waffle maker,
and you can also find cinnamon rolls and muffins there.
Plus, there's usually much more seating available, so you can enjoy your meal in peace.

What's more, the basement floor also offers yogurt,
where you can add your preferred toppings and cereals
to create your very own custom yogurt!
For those curious about the breakfast at Home2 Suites by Hilton,
I've tried my best to capture all the buffet photos for this post.
Considering it's a Times Square hotel, it truly offers incredible value for money,
making it an absolute gem.👏🏻👏🏻
