catching a dazzling Broadway musical!

Among the countless incredible shows, the one I picked for my adventure this time was

the beloved Wicked, which you might already know from the movie!

Honestly, the biggest dilemmas I faced when booking were

the perfect seats, the price tag, and, of course, the fact it was an English-language performance.

I really wanted to snag amazing seats,

but when I tried to pick specific seats myself,

the prices shot up quite a bit!

That's why I opted to book my tickets through At Home Trip

I wanted to add a truly unique cultural experience to my itinerary—something you can only truly savor in New York.

And the dazzling production I chose was none other than

Wicked.

Since many are already familiar with the story from the movie,

it's a perfect choice for those who might not have seen many musicals before,

making it a relatively stress-free and enjoyable performance.

If, like me, you're a little nervous about an English-language performance,

picking a show you're already familiar with can be a fantastic strategy!

Or even better, do a little pre-study or review on your flight over!

2. Finding Wicked: The New York Broadway Theater Location

Wicked is currently

being performed at New York Broadway's Gershwin Theatre,

and conveniently located just a 5-minute stroll from the iconic Times Square Red Steps,

making it incredibly easy to reach!

3. Your Guide to Booking New York Broadway Musicals

I secured my Wicked tickets through At Home Trip, and let me tell you about the booking method!

The type of ticket I opted for wasn't one where you

individually pick out exact seat numbers.

Instead, it allowed me to select a general section, such as Orchestra or Mezzanine,

and then purchase.

Initially,

I thought to myself, 'Wouldn't it be better to handpick my seats directly?'

But once I started comparing prices across various other sites,

the method of being assigned seats within a desirable section turned out to be

significantly more affordable than trying to pinpoint exact seats myself.

I personally went with the Orchestra section,

and because I wasn't fixated on picking a precise seat number,

this flexible booking method actually suited me perfectly.

I was ultimately assigned seat A6,

and it was incredibly convenient that they proactively assigned me such a great seat!

4. Review of Wicked, Row A Seating

My assigned seat was

in Row A, quite close to the stage!

It was great for seeing the entire stage,

and being able to watch the actors' expressions and performances up close

really helped me immerse myself in the show!

As I watched the show, I noticed

there were quite a few scenes where the actors performed on the right side of the stage.

From my assigned seat, I had a perfect view right in front of it,

which personally made me very satisfied.

Even though I didn't get to choose my seat directly,

saving money while still getting a fantastic seat was

the absolute best part!

5. Show Completed! My Honest Review

Watching Wicked live in New York was

one of the most memorable parts of this trip.

The stage production, so different from the movie, and

seeing the actors sing right before my eyes,

made me truly understand why Broadway shows are a must-have on everyone's New York travel bucket list!

I finally got it!
