Out of so many options, finding a spot that ticks all the boxes for location, price, and amenities
isn't always easy.
Today, I’m sharing my honest review of the New Orient Hotel Da Nang,
where I stayed for three nights and was absolutely blown away.
Along with the details on the breakfast and swimming pool
which most travelers care about the most,
I’ll also break down exactly why this place is highly recommended as an ultimate budget-friendly stay.

New Orient Hotel Da Nang is located in the Hai Chau district,
right in downtown Da Nang.
While it's not a beachside resort right on My Khe Beach,
it’s super easy to get to the airport, city attractions, and local restaurants,
making it perfect for a sightseeing-heavy itinerary.
In Da Nang, since many popular activities like visiting Ba Na Hills, Hoi An, or local spas
require a car ride,
how easy it is to call a Grab
is just as important as the distance to the beach.
If you're booking tours with pickup services
or plan to enjoy dining and spa treatments in town,
you can create a very convenient, hassle-free route.

operational details might vary,

Spacious rooms and sparkling clean conditions
Room choices range from the entry-level Superior Room
to the Deluxe Pool View Room, which features a cozy bathtub and pool views.
The very first thing that caught my eye
when entering the room was the generous sense of space.
Even with suitcases fully opened around the bed, it didn't feel cramped at all,
and the bathroom with a bathtub was immaculately maintained,
making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring.
Although there is a glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom,
you can easily pull down the blinds, so there are no privacy issues
even when traveling with friends or family.
The room is fully equipped with bathrobes, slippers, coffee, tea,
and essential amenities.
Plus, from the pool-view rooms, you get to overlook the pool
beautifully glowing at night!
If you want that resort vibe even at a budget-friendly hotel
One of the greatest highlights of this hotel
is undoubtedly the outdoor swimming pool on the 2nd floor.
The beautiful, refreshingly long pool is perfect for practicing your laps,
and with plenty of shade set up all around,
you can enjoy swimming without worrying
even during the peak afternoon sun.
They also provide swim tubes and life jackets for kids,
making it an absolute paradise
for family travelers.
The pool is open until 10 PM, and with the soft, ambient lighting,
it's the perfect spot to soak in the romance of a night swim.
On top of that, there's a morning-access
adults-only rooftop pool, plus a rowing machine
in their pristine fitness center,
allowing you to complete your healthy staycation! :)

Dining with a Beautiful City View
I had the breakfast buffet every morning during my 3-night stay,
and honestly, it was one of the highlights
of my time at the New Orient Hotel.
I thought the menu might get repetitive after a day or two,
but they actually rotated the pho options and several other dishes daily,
so it felt fresh and exciting every single morning.
They cook up fresh omelets, scrambled eggs, and fried eggs
right on the spot, and you can customize your Vietnamese pho
with your favorite ingredients for a steaming bowl of goodness.
The bakery selection was incredibly diverse, and the salad bar
was surprisingly robust, making it fun to mix and match
different plates each day.
Considering the variety, taste, and the overall dining ambiance,
the value for money was exceptionally high
for this breakfast spread!
The Perfect Stay for Solo Travelers, Couples, and Families Alike
In conclusion, New Orient Hotel Da Nang
boasts a fantastic city-center location, spacious and clean rooms,
plus a flawless pool and breakfast experience.
It truly blew me away throughout my stay as an
all-time favorite, high-value hotel.

I highly recommend this well-crafted hotel
to anyone looking for a satisfying stay.

The 2nd-floor outdoor pool is open until 10 PM and is equipped with tubes and life jackets for children. During the morning hours, an adults-only rooftop pool is also operated separately, allowing you to enjoy swimming according to your preference.
The pho menu or some dishes change slightly every day, so you can enjoy a fresh dining experience even if you stay for several days. In addition to made-to-order egg dishes and pho, a substantial salad corner and a variety of breads are provided.
It is located in the center of Da Nang city in the Hai Chau area, not right in front of My Khe Beach. Although it is a bit far from the beach, it is suitable for a sightseeing-focused itinerary as it is convenient to travel by car or Grab to the airport, downtown tourist attractions, and restaurants.
There is a glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom, but you can lower the blinds to protect your privacy. The rooms are meticulously equipped with bathrobes, slippers, coffee and tea, and basic amenities.
