Once you've purchased your ticket, the next step is to reserve your seat.

Your booking voucher will include a link to a website (like the one on the left in the picture). Head there and click 'Seat Reservation'. You'll then be taken to a screen (like the one on the right) where you can select your travel date, departure time, destination, and finally, your seat. It's that simple!

The whole process usually takes only a minute or two.

Getting to Your Nankai Rapi:t Platform at Nankai Namba Station

Now, let's walk through how to get to your Nankai Rapi:t platform from Nankai Namba Station.

It's easy to get confused in Osaka, as there are no less than four Namba stations: JR Namba, Osaka Namba, Midosuji Namba, and Nankai Namba.

Since the Rapi:t is operated by Nankai Electric Railway, you'll need to make your way to 'Nankai Namba Station'.

Simply go back to the seat reservation website and click the 'show QR code' button. An temporary QR code, like the one pictured, will appear.

Scan this QR code at the designated gates, and you're good to enter the platform!

Once inside the boarding area, check the electronic display boards for your train's schedule and platform number. For instance, if you're taking the 4:00 PM Rapi:t, the board will show its platform, perhaps Platform 9.

Take the escalator up to your designated platform, and you'll spot the distinctive Nankai Rapi:t train waiting for you!

After exiting, if you're flying from Terminal 1, head left. If you're departing from Terminal 2, go right.

We used Terminal 1 for our international flight. You'll find clear signage, even in English, guiding you to the international departures. Just follow the blue arrows on the floor, and you'll reach the departure lounge without any hassle.
