This Da Nang trip was a wonderful multi-generational adventure with my parents, my husband and I, and our daughter, Melody – a total of five of us! On our first day, we opted for a budget-friendly hotel near the airport in the city, making the most of our time exploring famous eateries, sipping on refreshing coconut coffee, and browsing Han Market. It was a great way to kick off our vacation.

On day two, we finally transferred to Naman Retreat, the highly anticipated resort for our relaxing getaway. It took about 25 minutes by taxi from the bustling city center.

Getting a Grab (ride-hailing service) in Da Nang is incredibly easy, so venturing back into the city for an excursion or two was never an issue.

In fact, we loved being slightly removed from the hot and crowded city, finding the resort's location ideal for a peaceful, secluded family retreat.

The check-in lounge was tranquil, spotless, and stylish – a perfect first impression.

After being assigned our villa, a quick buggy ride brought us to our lush, green-covered haven!

We chose the 2-bedroom Hamlet Pool Villa, which comfortably accommodated all five of us.

The two bedrooms are identical in size and layout, but what made it truly special was the complete separation of space across different floors. This allowed us to enjoy both togetherness and privacy.

With my parents on one floor and my husband and I on another, everyone had their own private space for relaxing, showering, changing, and sleeping – it was absolutely ideal.

Beyond the spacious and comfortable rooms, the resort's expansive grounds were easily navigable. A quick phone call was all it took to summon a buggy, making it effortless for my parents to get around without any hassle.

We spotted a small lizard only once on our first day, then not again. However, we did have a minor incident with tiny ants, smaller than sesame seeds, that suddenly appeared later in our stay.

Our family, who stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed a late checkout, booked a pool villa package that included a daily breakfast buffet for all five of us, plus a 50-minute spa treatment (massage) for each person, every single day of our stay.

Every morning, we gathered together to enjoy hearty and delicious breakfast options, including warm bowls of pho.

Receiving a different 50-minute spa treatment each day, right within the resort, truly melted away all the fatigue from our travels.

My parents particularly loved this daily massage package, which was a huge relief and made the trip even more enjoyable!
