Nishitetsu Croom vs. Hotel Forza Sakae Nagoya: Budget Stays Compared 2026
Heading to Nagoya? We compare two top budget hotels, Nishitetsu Croom and Hotel Forza Sakae, highlighting their unique perks for your 2026 Japanese adventure!

Hello, I'm Hizzi.
Having visited Nagoya several times,
I've had the chance to experience quite a few value-for-money hotels.
Among them, the places I felt were good enough to stay at again were
Nishitetsu Croom Nagoya and
Hotel Forza Nagoya Sakae.

Both places are hotels I've personally stayed at,
and upon checking now,
they are included in Yeogieottae's lowest price guarantee program, so they're great options to compare
if you're looking for accommodation.
What's more, Yeogieottae's international accommodation coupons
can even be applied, so it's a really good idea to check the actual payment amount
before you book.
1. Nishitetsu Croom vs. Forza Sakae: A Comparison...
| Nishitetsu Croom Nagoya | Forza Nagoya Sakae |
Location | 1-min walk from Hisaya-odori Station | 5-7 min walk from Sakae Station |
Pros | Public bath + Super close to station | Optimal for shopping + Spacious rooms |
Recommended for | Those who value a public bath | Shoppers and travelers focused on Sakae's center |
Both were great value-for-money accommodations in Nagoya, but their unique advantages set them completely apart.
Personally, if a relaxing public bath is my top priority, I'd absolutely pick Nishitetsu Croom.
But if I'm looking for spacious rooms and super convenient shopping, then Forza Sakae would be my go-to!
If you want shopping and spacious rooms
Hotel Forza Sakae

Forza Nagoya Sakae was a dream for anyone wanting to dive deep into Sakae's vibrant shopping scene and incredible foodie spots!
Just a quick 5-7 minute stroll from Sakae Station, this spot is surrounded by countless brands for shopping. If your Nagoya adventure is all about retail therapy, you'll love how easy it is to navigate from here!

The room I stayed in was a Refresh Double Room.
Even with two 24-inch suitcases completely open, I still had ample space to walk around – a huge win for a Japanese business hotel!

Right by the bed, you'll find a comfy sofa and a table, and get this – there's even a massage machine in the room!
I definitely made the most of it during my two-night stay, rejuvenating after all that exploring.

The bathtub was surprisingly spacious for the room size, and on the 3rd floor, they had a thoughtful selection of bath salts, amenities, a coffee machine, and other goodies ready for guests!
On the flip side, just a heads-up: unlike Nishitetsu, this hotel doesn't have a separate public bath.

If a public bath is important for ending your day
Nishitetsu Croom Nagoya

As you might expect from a Japanese business hotel, the rooms here are on the cozy side.
The room I stayed in was pretty compact;
once you opened up a 21-inch suitcase, the moving space got quite tight..

However, the main reason I particularly loved this hotel was
its incredible grand public bath on the 14th floor.
With not only an indoor bath but also a stunning outdoor open-air bath,
soaking myself there after a long day of walking
truly melted all my fatigue away.
In fact, I was so utterly satisfied with my first stay that I even
re-booked it for my very next trip to Nagoya! Haha.

While the room might be compact,
the thoughtful design included a separate sink, toilet, and shower, plus all the
essentials like an air purifier and an electric kettle
were cleverly packed in!
