📍Official Ticket Release Date Two months before your visit The 10th of every month, 2:00 PM KST (Korean Standard Time) |
❓
For example, planning to visit in December?
Then the booking window opens on October 10th at 2:00 PM KST.
But let me tell you, booking Ghibli Park isn't easy!
It's incredibly popular due to its fame,
and tickets for weekends and holidays sell out super fast!
So,
if you're planning your Nagoya adventure,
I highly recommend checking your flight, accommodation, and desired Ghibli Park visit dates
and aligning your schedule perfectly for booking.

3] Ticket Types and Differences
At Ghibli Park, there are
two types of tickets: Standard and Premium.
What's the difference, you ask?

Ghibli Park Premium vs. Standard Ticket Differences
Standard | Premium | ||
Ghibli's Grand Warehouse Mononoke Village Valley of Witches Access to these 3 areas only | Access to all 5 areas (Standard 3 areas + Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest) + Explore building interiors like Okino Residence, Howl's Castle, Witch's House, etc. | ||
Adult | Weekdays 3,300 JPY Weekends/Holidays 3,800 JPY | Adult | Weekdays 7,300 JPY Weekends/Holidays 7,800 JPY |
Child | Weekdays 1,750 JPY Weekends/Holidays 2,000 JPY | Child | Weekdays 3,650 JPY Weekends/Holidays 3,900 JPY |
Infant | Free | Infant | Free |
Child (4 years old ~ elementary school age)
Infant (0-3 years old)
There's a difference in the viewing areas
Because Ghibli Park is quite spacious inside,
if you want to experience it with the Premium ticket, it's best to set aside half a day to a full day for your visit.
With a Standard ticket,
you can view buildings like Howl's Castle or Okinos's House
only from the outside,
but with a Premium ticket, you can go inside.
While the Standard ticket is much cheaper in terms of price,
actual visitor reviews show a significant difference in satisfaction
from directly experiencing the spaces inside the animations.
If you're a Ghibli fan, go for Premium.
If you want to casually explore for about half a day
and fit in other plans,
we recommend Standard.

However, Premium tickets
are limited in quantity and highly popular,
so they often sell out.
Make sure to plan generously
and book in advance!!
