Nagoya Centrair Airport 2026: Exploring the Flight of Dreams
Discover Nagoya Centrair Airport's incredible Flight of Dreams, featuring the first Boeing 787. Learn about its unique exhibits, location, and how to navigate the airport easily for your 2026 trip.
To head back to Korea from Tokoname Station,
I made my way to Nagoya Chubu Airport.

Since I was flying Jeju Air, I had to head to Terminal 2.
After getting off the subway,
I walked quite a distance towards Terminal 2.
It took me over 10 minutes to get there.
There's also a free shuttle available.
The truly unique thing about Nagoya Airport is...!
Flight of Dreams

Inside the airport,
there's an incredibly huge exhibit centered around the world's first Boeing 787 aircraft,
on display,
which means you can have a unique aircraft experience!
The scale is truly magnificent!
Its sheer size is astounding.
Exhibition Hours
10:00-17:00
Location
Located within a terminal next to the airport's Terminal 2.
It's situated between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.
The exhibition is divided into free and paid zones.
📍 Flight of Dreams
Japan 〒479-0881 Aichi, Tokoname, Centrair, 1 Chome−1 Chubu Centrair International Airport

On the 1st floor, where the Boeing 787 aircraft is displayed,
there's a Kids Park Museum,
and across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors,
you'll find an array of restaurants, cafes, and shops.

If you follow this path, you'll come across a convenience store and

a large restaurant.
Its name is The Pike Brewing Restaurant & Craft Beer Bar.
They offer a variety of craft beers and Western-style dishes.

So many people were seated,
enjoying the restaurant's offerings.

There are even vending machines selling Disney merchandise!

The airplane was incredibly massive,
there were so many people,
and I was absolutely amazed by how enormous the interior was!

So much to see!

There's even a Starbucks!

I was going to grab a drink at Starbucks,
but the line was just incredibly long.

So, I decided to grab a lemonade from Fruit Juice Gwapjeup Sora instead.
It cost ~$2,
and wow, it really didn't taste good...

After finishing my drink,
I headed to Terminal 2 for my Jeju Air flight.
It was spacious and surprisingly not crowded at all!
Duty-Free Shopping!

You'll find everything from cigarettes and alcohol to cosmetics and accessories.

There are also plenty of spots to pick up some souvenirs.

And they have a great selection of items
perfect for gifting.

You'll spot favorites like Royce,
Tokyo Banana,
and Shiroi Koibito – those delicious cookies that taste just like Couque D'Asse!

I picked up some Ohmalcha chocolate,
and while I think the matcha content was high,
it was incredibly bitter and salty!
I was genuinely surprised...
especially since I usually love matcha.

And guess what? There's a Matsumoto Kiyoshi drugstore here too!!
They're selling cosmetic eye mask packs at such great prices!
I even bought a yuzu cleansing balm.
Just a heads-up, compared to the duty-free shops in Terminal 1,
the selection of brands and items might be a bit smaller.
Restaurants, Operating Hours

Sora Terrace

What about the prices here?!
They sell Nagoya specialties like Kishimen noodles and eel,
and there's even a dish for 5,500 yen!
The prices are just too!
...astounding!

Still, I tried the relatively more affordable
Tempura Donburi (1,980 yen)
and Yakitori Donburi (1,680 yen)!

The seating was like this,
allowing me to eat comfortably in a spacious area.

Oh! Usually, whenever I go to airports in Osaka, Fukuoka, Tokyo, etc.,
the food isn't great, but
this place is better than I expected!

The Tempura Donburi included fried shrimp, fish, lotus root, and squid.

The miso soup was delicious too,

and the seasoning of the rice in the donburi was just right.

The chicken rice bowl is so tender, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious!
I truly ate my fill in Nagoya, enjoying every single meal!
Now, it's time to head back home to Korea!
