For Meitetsu Limited Express reserved seats,
there's no price difference compared to μ-SKY.
If you want to travel comfortably seated in a reserved seat all the way to Nagoya Station,
you can take either the earliest available
Meitetsu Limited Express reserved seat or the μ-SKY.
Either option works fine.

For the airport limousine bus, depending on traffic conditions,
travel times can vary.
So, if your accommodation is near Sakae Station,
I recommend taking the Meitetsu Limited Express and then transferring to the subway!

Meitetsu Limited Express
Price

Non-reserved seat: 980 yen
Reserved seat (Cars 1 & 2): 1,430 yen

💡 Got a Suica (transportation card) handy??
If you're planning to ride in a non-reserved seat,
you don't have to queue up to buy a ticket.
Just tap your transportation card at the ticket gate and hop on!
Seating Types

✔ Cars 1 & 2: Reserved seats (additional fee applies)
✔ Cars 3 onwards: Non-reserved seats (first-come, first-served)
If the queue is long, consider taking a later car,
or waiting for the next train to ensure you get a seat – it's much more comfortable.

Non-reserved Seat Types:
Each car has two types of seats.
✔ Horizontal Seats: Korean subway style
✔ Vertical Seats: Train style

For vertical seats,
you can switch between
forward-facing and backward-facing by holding the handle and changing direction.
How to Transfer to Sakae Station

From Nagoya Chubu Airport to Sakae Station,
you'll need to transfer by subway.
The two stations where you can transfer to Sakae Station are
Nagoya Station and Kanayama Station.
Transfer Route | Line | Total Fare |
Nagoya Station Transfer | 🟡 Higashiyama Line | 1,190 JPY |
Kanayama Station Transfer | 🟣 Meijo Line | 1,120 JPY |

✔ While transferring at Kanayama Station is cheaper,
there are many stairs, so if you have heavy luggage,
transferring can be difficult.
That's why, since the time difference isn't significant,
I recommend transferring at Nagoya Station.
μ-SKY (ミュースカイ)

The μ-SKY is an all-reserved seat train.
By purchasing an additional μ-Ticket,
you can reach Nagoya Station in about 30 minutes.
If you want to travel comfortably and have luggage storage,
I recommend the μ-SKY.

✔ To Nagoya Station:
1,430 JPY (Base fare 980 JPY + μ-Ticket 450 JPY)
✔ To Sakae:
1,640 JPY (μ-SKY + Higashiyama Line 🟡 210 JPY)
⚠️If you board the μ-SKY with just the base fare ticket (980 JPY),
you'll need to purchase a μ-Ticket from the conductor on the train.
It will cost 50 JPY extra, making it 500 JPY.
Limousine Bus

The Limousine Bus can take you directly to Sakae
without any transfers.
However, during peak traffic hours,
travel time may be longer.
Although it's more expensive, if you're traveling with your parents,
I recommend the comfortable Limousine Bus.
✔ Fare: 2,000 JPY
✔ To Sakae: Approx. 45-60+ minutes
