Before my trip to Portugal, I stumbled upon a travel show highlighting Porto, and one particular cafe instantly caught my eye.

It’s the same Porto cafe I saw featured on that travel show.

After leaving our accommodation, we crossed under the Dom Luís I Bridge

and followed Google Maps into the city center when we stumbled upon this quaint cafe.

If your accommodation happens to be near the Dom Luís I Bridge, this spot is incredibly close.

Its location and charming vibe make it absolutely worth a visit.

On my first morning in Porto, navigating Google Maps into the city center, I was initially taken aback by the many stairs leading up to what turned out to be My Coffee Porto!

I revisited later, around 3-4 PM, and was delighted to find it bustling almost exclusively with locals, which is always a great sign.

My Coffee Porto keeps its menu refreshingly simple.

You'll find a selection of coffees, smoothies, fresh juices (their orange juice is a standout!),

bottled water, sparkling water, tonics, sodas, teas, and even some alcoholic options.

We opted for coffee and the fresh orange juice from the menu.

Though not a huge space, My Coffee Porto boasts a wonderfully cozy and inviting atmosphere.

One wall is adorned with countless notes left by travelers from all over the world, adding a personal touch, and a captivating central painting.

The young staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always enhances the experience.

We were lucky enough to snag a spot on the terrace just as one became available.

From there, the panoramic Douro River view unfolds before you!

The day before our arrival in Porto had been rainy, which meant my photos came out a bit hazy,

but the gentle breeze and the sheer beauty of the scene made it an utterly blissful experience, regardless of the camera's output.

Our iced Americano and fresh orange juice arrived.

The coffee, served in a standard glass, wasn't huge, but it was hands down the best coffee I tasted among several cafes in Porto's city center.

The view and the quality of the drinks truly made for a perfect combination.

The orange juice, as expected, was freshly squeezed and incredibly delicious!

Just being able to enjoy this view was pure happiness.

It was one of those moments where you can simply zone out, watch the world go by, and feel completely content.

The smaller serving size meant we ended up ordering a couple of rounds, but it was worth it to soak in the moment.

(I'm so glad I captured at least one video of that time!)

When the innermost terrace seat briefly opened up, I captured the Douro River view, and it was absolutely stunning.

While the weather wasn't perfectly sunny, the proximity to our accommodation made it an ideal spot to frequent, regardless of the forecast.

I still remember a local practicing juggling with various items nearby, his laughter and antics adding to the vibrant, authentic atmosphere.

This cafe, frequented by locals, truly offers a wonderful vibe, and people-watching the crowds ascending and descending the steps is an added bonus.
