Moc Huong Spa
Your Ultimate Ho Chi Minh Massage Experience
When it comes to renowned spa retreats in Ho Chi Minh City, Moc Huong Spa consistently tops the list. They boast two distinct locations: the convenient "In White" branch and the "Thao Dien" branch.

A quick check on Google Maps revealed I'd actually visited the Thao Dien branch before! However, that was prior to my blogging days, so I had no records or clear memories. While a return visit might jog my memory, I opted for the closer "In White" branch this time, eager to explore a new spot.

And so, my journey to Moc Huong Spa In White began. As I traveled, I couldn't help but notice the affluent vibe of the neighborhood – the buildings towering impressively around me.
Befitting its surroundings, Moc Huong Spa's exterior was impeccably clean and stylish, living up to its "White" name with a pristine, bright aesthetic.

The menu felt quite professional. No need to decipher every detail, though, as a friendly staff member guided me through each spa treatment option.
For those wondering about Ho Chi Minh massage prices, Moc Huong Spa's basic rates are as follows:
60 minutes: 450,000 VND (approximately ~$18)
90 minutes: 600,000 VND (approximately ~$24)
120 minutes: 750,000 VND (approximately ~$30)
A common concern for visitors to Vietnam is tipping culture, but at Moc Huong Spa, all tips are included in the price, so you can relax without any extra worries.
I was quite exhausted from my travels, so I already had my heart set on a specific treatment: the Ayurvedic massage. While perhaps not their signature, I was drawn to the idea of warm oil soothing my weary body.

The experience began with a lovely welcome tea and light refreshments.

Next, a soothing foot bath. My feet were gently scrubbed with salt, then rinsed with a refreshing solution.

It seemed like the rooms were categorized by treatment type, adding to the organized and professional atmosphere.

This was my treatment room. Despite Moc Huong being quite popular with bloggers, the staff seemed amused by my picture-taking, often smiling when I snapped a photo.

That device looked like it was warming the oil, and indeed, the oil was perfectly heated. It was a delightful temperature, initially feeling a touch warm on the skin before settling into a comforting warmth.
Given my fatigued state, it wasn't long before I drifted off into a deep, peaceful sleep. I barely remember the details of the massage itself – a testament to how relaxing it was!
Oh, and if you choose this particular treatment, oil is also applied to the face. They informed me of this beforehand, and I believe you could opt out if you preferred. But since I planned to shower afterward, I went ahead with the full experience.

After the treatment, I was offered an additional glass of juice, complementing the welcome tea and snacks I received upon arrival.

Comparing it to Miu Miu Spa, the 90-minute Vietnam massage price was the same at 600,000 VND (approximately ~$24) for both. Both spas also include tips in their pricing. While Miu Miu, being Japanese-operated, has a very clean atmosphere and caters to many international guests, Moc Huong Spa also maintains a pristine environment and seems to attract more local clientele, perhaps residents from the surrounding area.
With such a diverse range of treatments, I'll definitely need to return. This time, I drifted off to sleep, and I received a non-mainstream treatment. Next visit, I'll try one of their signature options.
The main drawback is its location – while not extremely far, it is a bit removed from the city center. This "In White" branch is the closer one, with the Thao Dien branch being even further out.
Despite the slightly longer commute, the presence of private shower facilities and the overall professional management made this Ho Chi Minh massage experience truly worthwhile. I'm already planning my next visit to the Thao Dien branch!
