Traveling in Phu Quoc with your whole family, from parents to little ones, can make choosing a restaurant a real adventure! You need options that appeal to kids, satisfy adults, and, let's be honest, offer blessed air conditioning to escape the Phu Quoc heat.
Recently, our entire family enjoyed a relaxing massage at Zenith Spa. Thanks to their convenient pick-up and drop-off service, we headed straight to Meo Kitchen afterward.
This restaurant popped up so often in our searches for 'Phu Quoc best eats' that we just had to try it. The verdict? Completely satisfied!
The Banh Xeo, in particular, was impressive from the moment it arrived at our table – its sheer size was something else!
From Zenith Spa to Meo Kitchen and Kingkong Mart
Our itinerary that day was incredibly smooth. After our massages at Zenith Spa, the pick-up service took us directly to Meo Kitchen.
When you're navigating with a large group, including parents and kids, constantly hailing taxis or rides can be a hassle. So, being able to go straight from our spa treatment to dinner was a huge plus.
After our meal, we took a leisurely stroll to Kingkong Mart. Our route was:
Zenith Spa → Meo Kitchen → Kingkong Mart
If you're planning your central Phu Quoc activities, this combination works perfectly for a seamless day.

Meo Kitchen Waiting Game: Grab a Number First!
As expected for a popular Phu Quoc restaurant, Meo Kitchen was bustling when we arrived. So, the first rule of thumb is: grab a waiting number as soon as you get there!

Luckily, there's a cool, air-conditioned cafe right next door. We grabbed our number and waited comfortably there.
Waiting outside with kids in the Phu Quoc heat would have been exhausting before we even started eating. Sitting in the cool cafe was a lifesaver! The interior of Meo Kitchen also boasts excellent air conditioning, which is truly essential in Phu Quoc.
Meo Kitchen Menu and Prices (as of late 2026)
Meo Kitchen offers a diverse menu beyond just Banh Xeo, including fried rice, spring rolls (Cha Gio), and Banh Mi Chao.
Based on the menu during our visit in late 2026, here's an approximate price guide:
✔️ Banh Xeo: 150,000 VND (~$6)
✔️ Beef Fried Rice: 150,000 VND (~$6)
✔️ Banh Mi Chao: 130,000 VND (~$5)
✔️ Cha Gio (Spring Rolls): 70,000 VND (~$3)
✔️ Minced Meat Omelet: 70,000 VND (~$3)
Please note that prices can vary, so always double-check the current menu when you visit.
For our family, we ordered the Banh Xeo, Beef Fried Rice, Cha Gio, Banh Mi Chao, and the Minced Meat Omelet.
Banh Xeo: An Unforgettable Size!
Without a doubt, the Banh Xeo was the most memorable dish at Meo Kitchen.

It looked big in photos, but seeing it in person made us wonder, 'How many people is this supposed to feed?' It was truly enormous!

The exterior was wonderfully crispy, while the inside was generously filled with bean sprouts and other fresh ingredients. Wrapping it in lettuce and dipping it in the sauce was incredibly delicious!
The portion was so substantial that it was perfect for a large family like ours to order several dishes and share. If you're a party of two or three, you might want to see the size of the Banh Xeo first before ordering too many other items.
Plenty of Kid-Friendly Options Too!

For the kids, the Beef Fried Rice was a hearty and satisfying choice, and they loved the crispy Cha Gio (spring rolls) too.

And then there was the dish we initially mistook for a gratin: Banh Mi Chao.

This Vietnamese specialty features beef, eggs, sausage, and cheese, all served sizzling in a hot pan, meant to be enjoyed with a side of baguette. It was wonderfully warm and flavorful!

We also tried the Minced Meat Omelet, which initially looked like a beef pancake.

Overall, the dishes weren't overly strong in flavor or unfamiliar, making them easy for everyone, from parents to kids, to enjoy. Best of all, every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious – a truly satisfying meal!
Coffee in Hand, Off to Kingkong Mart!
After finishing our meal, Meo Kitchen even gave us a discount coupon for the adjacent cafe – definitely a perk we had to use!
We grabbed some coffee and mango juice, and with our refreshing drinks in hand, walked straight to Kingkong Mart.
Instead of hopping straight into a car after eating, the gentle stroll with a cool beverage was a lovely way to digest and explore.

So, if you're planning a trip to Kingkong Mart, I highly recommend combining it with a meal at Meo Kitchen on the same day. It was comfortable for our large family, and the wide variety of menu options made it perfect for dining with kids.
Just be prepared for a bit of a wait!
Our strategy of grabbing a number and waiting in the cool cafe next door made the experience much more pleasant.
If you're searching for the best Banh Xeo in Phu Quoc or a great family restaurant to pair with your Kingkong Mart visit, Meo Kitchen is definitely worth adding to your list!
