Before my trip to Spain,
I always thought Barcelona was the go-to for shopping.
But once I actually arrived, I realized Madrid is
actually the perfect city for it!
First off, there are fewer tourists than in Barcelona,
which means shorter waiting times
and the sales associates were even friendlier.

I stumbled upon Galeria Canalejas department store
quite by accident!
I was actually heading to a nearby cafe for churros for breakfast
when I spotted a sign
listing all the luxury brands! Haha!
I simply couldn't resist checking it out!
Brands Available
The interior was similar to any other department store,
but while the exterior has an antique feel,
the inside felt very chic and sophisticated.
Valentino, Omega, Rolex,
Yves Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo, Dior, and more
luxury brands are all available here.
Louis Vuitton Store in Madrid
I just had to step inside the Louis Vuitton store!
The Louis Vuitton store in Barcelona
was absolutely packed with tourists,
so I had to wait quite a while
until a sales associate could attend to me.
However, the Louis Vuitton store in Madrid
was quiet and spacious, making it so pleasant
to browse around.
Scarves
There was a diverse selection of scarves,
and most importantly, I could browse slowly and comfortably,
which was very satisfying! :-)
Women's Wallets
There was a wide variety, from Louis Vuitton long wallets
to medium wallets and cardholders.
Even compared to the Barcelona store,
it felt like the variety here was incredibly extensive.
Women's Bags
For women's handbags,
it felt like they had most of the designs
you could wish for.
There were even colors of the Alma BB that I hadn't seen before,
making it really fun to look around.
Fragrances
There were also many different types of fragrances available.
Men's Bags
Following the women's section, I also checked out the men's section,
where they had things like
suitcases, backpacks, and cross-body bags.
Shoes & Belts
They also had a variety of shoes and belts.
Men's Wallets
I also browsed the men's wallets,
thinking they'd make great gifts.
The prices for Louis Vuitton men's wallets
ranged from the mid-to-high €300s to the mid-to-high €500s.
There was a wide variety of price points,
varying by leather type and design.
The two designs on the left are €380.
The black cardholder above is €370.
The black wallet below is €445.
The gray wallet on the right is €420.
And that concludes my review of Galería Canalejas,
which was a fantastic spot for luxury shopping in Madrid!
