M Village Ton That Dam Ho Chi Minh Review 2026: Budget Stay

Since I arrived late in Ho Chi Minh and was just looking for a place to sleep,

I stayed one night in the M Village Ton That Dam Deluxe Twin Room.

I booked it for around ~$58 without much expectation,

but it turned out to be a really good Ho Chi Minh hotel with a great location and high cleanliness.

Price & Booking Comparison

When I made my reservation, the Deluxe Twin Room was around

~$58 on Agoda.

It was cheaper than Booking.com and Trip.com, so

I chose Agoda among the three platforms.

However, when I searched for specific dates

recently, the price had gone up to around ~$95.

So, checking prices before booking is a must!

10-15 Minutes Walk to Major Attractions

Prime Location

M Village Ton That Dam is located in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City,

making it easy to walk to major attractions.

From my own experience, places like the Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh Central Post Office,

and Saigon Square were

mostly within a 10-15 minute walk.

The airport is also just 20-30 minutes away,

making it a great option for those arriving in Ho Chi Minh late at night or early in the morning.

Deluxe Twin Room Review

Since there weren't many reviews from Koreans,

I was most concerned about the room condition.

But those worries were completely unfounded! .....

The Deluxe Twin Room I stayed in was so spacious that

even with two suitcases open simultaneously,

there was still plenty of room for two people to move around!

It was much more convenient than a cramped business hotel when unpacking on the first day or

organizing and adjusting luggage weight on the last day.

The bathroom had a separate layout with a washbasin, toilet, and shower area.

This meant that while one person was showering, the other could use the

washbasin, so we didn't have to wait long to use the bathroom when getting ready.

What I liked most was that the room had hardwood floors instead of carpet.

I didn't encounter any insects during my stay,

allowing me to relax comfortably.

The TV had YouTube, Netflix, and more...

I had access to streaming apps.

What's more, I found they were already logged in,

so all I had to do was sit back and watch comfortably...!

Shared kitchen, gym, swimming pool

On the second floor, you'll find a shared space for all guests,

featuring a shared kitchen and a pool table.

In the shared kitchen, you can enjoy takeout or delivery meals,

or even whip up simple dishes.

If you're hesitant to eat strong-smelling food in your room,

or staying for a few days and want to easily handle your meals,

the shared kitchen is a perfect option.

On the same floor, there's also a pool table,

which means if sudden rain changes your plans,

you can still have a great time at the hotel.

On the 8th floor, you'll find a modestly-sized

rooftop pool and gym.

While it might not be a sprawling resort-style hotel where you'd spend all day by the pool,

it's still perfectly sized for a refreshing swim or a bit of relaxation.

Is M-Village Ton That Dam a Recommended Value Stay in Ho Chi Minh?!

Considering its proximity to major Ho Chi Minh attractions,

the hotel price, room size, and other factors,

if you can snag a room for around ~$73,

I would definitely stay here again on my next Ho Chi Minh trip.

Keep in mind that prices can vary slightly across different booking sites,

so make sure to check the room price for your travel dates, cancellation policy, and the final price including taxes

before making your decision :)
